Such a lovely escape from the business of the City. Rest and exploring was a good combination. Looking forward to our next visit. Precious Gem and the fire place was the best winter touch!

Very helpful and friendly host. Beautiful garden and bathroom (mum loved the heated floor!), comfortable beds, lovely quiet location. Thoughtfully provided extras like breakfast items, milk, fruit and spreads. Thanks Geoff and Prue!

Wonderful hosts. It was a perfect fit for our needs and provided us a few peaceful days away from the big city of Auckland. I would recommend this place to anyone. There is also a wonderful golf course in Thames near this place.

Urs was a great host, very welcoming. Lovely location, surrounded by nature but close enough to towns like Waihi. My stay was exactly what I needed, digital detox and back to the basics. The only heads up I would give other guests is to those who are not confident drivers as during the cold or rainy months you may need to drive over overflowing stream (though this is not an issue just a warning if you're not a good driver). Would definitely consider staying again!
