Charming appartment in ancient house

The appartment is on the basement floor of an ancient house built before the turn of the 19th century (1884), with the original doors and windows and in one room a decorated ceiling. It is located in the little centre of Kritzendorf between Vienna and Tulln. You are not far away from the danube and the nearby meadowy woods. The famous Strombad - a bathing area along the river - is a 10minutes walk away. Vienna is easily reached via train in 20-30 min.

Sheila is a wonderful host. It is definitely preferred. The house is as complete as it shows. Friendly and approachable. The neighborhood where the house is located is not very close to Vienna, but it is a peaceful place half an hour away. The view from the balcony is great. We will choose this place first when we come to Austria again. Thank you, Sheila 🌺

It just doesn't get any better, it's exactly because of accommodations like this that Airbnb is attractive. The communication with Bettina and Werner in advance was very friendly and they even agreed that we could check in 45 minutes earlier to arrive in time for the wedding to which we were invited. The accommodation itself is even more beautiful than in the photos, an insanely beautiful, charming and extraordinary villa in the Weinviertel - one of the best price/performance ratios I have ever seen. I would do it again at any time, an unreserved recommendation!!

Katharina’s apartment was so cozy and absolutely perfect for our trip! We traveled with our two children that are 3 and 1, and she had so many things for them to play with and to also help keep them safe. If we had any issues, she was quick to respond and provide help. It truly felt like our home away from home!!

We were absolutely delighted! Everything was so beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully arranged down to the smallest detail — you can really tell that the place was designed with the comfort of guests in mind. We had such a great time: grilled some delicious barbecue, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and the kids had a blast swimming in the pool. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun. The house is absolutely amazing—such a perfect escape after a stressful work life. It’s cozy, homey, and just the kind of getaway I needed. The space is warm, welcoming, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything was spotless and felt brand new. You can tell a lot of care has gone into maintaining it. The owner was also super responsive and available whenever we needed anything, which made the stay even smoother. Honestly, it felt like a home away from home—I definitely recommend it.
