Holiday rentals with beach access in Kounoupidiana

Place was great, location right in the harbor, but still quiet. Place was exactly as described.

There will not be enough superlatives to describe this place. The location overlooking the Venetian Harbor was amazing. The house is historic, beautiful and has all the amenities you will want. You literally won't believe the large rooftop deck with crazy views. The house had lots of interesting things to read, lots of space for a large group and it was stocked with maps and guidebooks. The neighborhood is completely safe. The in-person welcome from the hosts contained some really thoughtful surprises (you will need to find out yourself - I won't ruin the surprise welcome.). Pobyt oceniam bardzo dobrze. Apartament był nieskazitelnie czysty, a wyposażenie samego mieszkania było bardzo bogate - nie musicie się o nic matwić! Mamy do dyspozycji pralkę, suszarkę, ręczniki, czystą pościel, czy nawet cały sprzęt plażowy, kosmetyki i wszystkie potrzebne detergenty. Lokalizacja jest bardzo dobra - w pobliżu mamy do dyspozycji kilka pięknych plaż, supermarkety oraz wypożyczalnie samochodów. 200m od domu znajduje się duży bezpłatny parking, więc mamy gdzie zaparkować wypożyczone auto. Gospodarze są bardzo uprzejmi i z chęcią pomogą i doradzą, gdy zajdzie taka potrzeba. Na miejscu znajdziemy papierowe przewodniki, mapki Krety itp, co pozwoli odpowiednio zaplanować kolejne dni podróży. PS. Dziękujemy bardzo za domowej roboty smakołyki! Były pyszne 😄 Gorąco polecam miejsce oraz samego gospodarza, pozdrawiam!

Très bien situé pour visiter la Canée et ses environs ainsi que Balos. Logement très propre et à 2 pas de la plage. Nasos est très réactif et sympathique. Petite attention à notre arrivée (fruits, huile d’olive et Raki) qui est super appréciable ! Merci !

Thrasyvoulos’s was a very responsive, proactive and helpful host. The apartment was in an amazing location with great restaurants nearby. Would recommend!

Wir haben diese Unterkunft kurzfristig gemietet. Die Buchung lief sehr unkompliziert ab. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Man findet dort alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Kühlschrank war sogar mit Frühstücksspeisen und Getränken gefüllt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten dort eine sehr schöne Zeit.

Schon im Vorfeld war die Kommunikation einfach. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und mit einer unglaublichen !!Großzügigkeit „ versorgt“ ( Obst, Honig, Organic Olivenöl, Rakomelo, Kaffee…)- ist so einzigartig. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl, genossen den traumhaften Ausblick. Artemis gab uns einige Tipps für Strände… Die Lage, im historischen Stadtteil Halepa für Busse in die Altstadt, Bäckerei schräg gegenüber, Supermarkt nebenan, Café und Restaurant direkt darunter, ist perfekt! Wir fanden auch immer einen Parkplatz in der Straße. Nette und stimmungsvolle Restaurants am Meer ( 10 min Fußweg) runden das Ganze ab. Die Straße ist recht laut, bei geöffnetem Fenster zu schlafen ist schwierig, geschlossen kein Problem und man gewöhnt sich auch daran. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit Aufzug im 5. Stock. Die Kommunikation mit Electra war super. Nachdem wir ihr gesagt haben, wann wir ankommen, hat sie uns an der Straße in Empfang genommen und zum Haus begleitet. Dort hat sie uns alle Räumlichkeiten gezeigt, zudem gab’s ein Gastgeschenk. Sie hat uns nützliche Informationen zur Erkundung der Umgebung gegeben. Elektra ist ein sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Vermieter. Das Haus selbst war sauber und die Betten komfortabel. Von der Dachterrasse konnte man das Meer erblicken. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen🙂

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist ruhig und bietet einen tollen Blick aufs Meer – perfekt, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben den Aufenthalt angenehm gestaltet. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus für einen entspannten Urlaub am Strand.

This was one of the nicest and best equipped AirBnB we have stayed in. Maria was so attentive and had so much helpful information about the town and places to visit. Our bed was luxurious to sleep in and a peaceful respite from the warm weather. The washer/dryer was great (though takes some time to cycle through). The location was amazing and on the cutest street in town. It was right down from a great vintage/second hand store (Vintage Rose) and a great sandwich shop (Pork to Be Wild). The food from Maria’s mother made us feel so welcomed along with the best honey ever. Don’t miss the Saturday market. Amazing!

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

wij hebben in mei / juni 2025 17 dagen een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit appartement. De omgeving is prachtig, op korte afstand kan je prachtig wandelen en 's avonds kijk je tijdens het eten uit over de bergen. Het appartement is ruim en gezellig ingericht. Het enige minpuntje is dat er maar één gaspit is om te koken. Daarentegen biedt de gastvrouw aan om (tegen kleine vergoeding) voor je te koken als je dat wilt. Dit moet je zeker doen want ze kookt heerlijk. Daarnaast is ze heel zorgzaam en doet er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. Een echte aanrader!

The pictures don't do the unit justice! Beautiful home with stunning views of the old port. Everything is walkable, and this is a great place to people watch. Lot's of stairs in the multi-level unit so beware. Beds for 6, and they're comfortable! Host is awesome, and very communicative. No parking at the unit but street parking can be had a couple of blocks away. I'd definitely return!

Everything you could want for staying in Chania! The room is perfect, and actually quite tall making the room feel bigger. The location is ideal and the balcony is great for relaxing. We loved our stay here and couldn’t recommend it enough! :)

Neues Appartement mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche, tolles Bad, größer Balkon, sehr bequemes Bett. Alles hell, sauber und freundlich. Es gab Begrüßungsgetränke und lokale Spezialisten zum probieren. Konstantinos war hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Wir hatten viele seiner Tipps gefolgt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Vielen Dank! Mietwagen ist ein muss, nur so ist man flexibel und gelangt zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Rauhallinen alue, remontoidut puhtaat huoneet. Meillä oli oranssi huone, joka sijaitsee kellarissa pienillä ikkunoilla kadulle. Huone ei lämmennyt helteillä joka oli mahtavaa! Majoituimme 8 yötä, huoneessa oli saippuat ja shampoot valmiina. Sekä pientä naposteltavaa. Tämä oli ihana yllätys 🙏Rakennuksessa oli pyykkitupa, jossa pystyi pesemään vaatteita. Tämä oli mahtavaa koska me reissattiin vain repuilla. Omistaja oli ystävällinen ja avulias. Iso suositus!! 10/10

Μείναμε πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από τη διαμονή μας. Ο Γιώργος ήταν πολύ άμεσος στην επικοινωνία και εξυπηρετικός. Το σπίτι είναι φωτεινό, ευάερο κοντά σε κεντρικά σημεία της πόλης και τη θάλασσα. Δεν αποτελεί χαρακτηριστικό παράδειγμα των περισσότερων bnb με σύγχρονες προδιαγραφές (πχ παλιές οικοσυσκευές, έπιπλα) και ανάλογη διακόσμηση αλλά αυτό το κάνει ζεστό και φιλικό. Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν τα κάπως δύσχρηστα παράθυρα/μπαλκονόπορτες. Βρήκαμε μέσα ό,τι χρειαστήκαμε. Θα το προτείναμε.

位置很好 可以步行到许多地方 附近有个好喝的咖啡馆 停车很方便 房东人非常好！回复非常及时！允许我们提前入住了😃 并且还允许我们在退房后多停了一会车 这真的很好（因为附近很难找到路上的停车位） 这栋楼很新 具备漂亮的电梯 房间也很干净温馨 设施齐全 冰箱里还有送的矿泉水 卫生间还有全身镜 卧室里有化妆镜 热水很暖和 卧室的灯也很明亮 很喜欢这里～ 卧室里能听到一点外面的车流声 但是可以接受 只是我的睡眠比较浅 所以注意到了这一点 总的来说 很推荐这里

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!

Wir haben 4 Wochen in diesem schönen Apartment verbracht. Die Lage haben wir uns ganz bewusst ausgesucht, wir kannten sie noch von früher. Von Anfang an haben wir uns dort wohlgefühlt. Ein schönes, neues Haus mit einem tollen großes Balkon mit bequemen Stühlen und einem kleineren zum Meer hin. Alles war blitzsauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir wurden mit einigen Leckereien überrascht, die Panagiotis bereit gestellt hat. Er ist ein super netter Gastgeber, sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert. Jederzeit war er gut zu erreichen. Wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben, kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Apartment sehr empfehlen. Danke Takis, dass wir euch kennenlernen durften und eure Wohnung nutzen durften.
