Founded in 1957, my grandfather, Eiichi Tanuchi, ran an inn called Aiwasho for the cultural development of Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture. In order to continue to protect its history and traditions, his granddaughter, Kiushuko, reopened the inn under its original name in 2021. Built on the site of Ueno Castle, this inn is a traditional Japanese house with tatami mats on the floor. Please relax in one of the two Japanese-style rooms. The inn is located on a hill overlooking the city of Tanabe, so you can enjoy the morning sun, sunset, and night view. On a calm day, we recommend having tea in a wicker chair on the edge of the hinoki cypress wooden deck, which was made in the image of the moon viewing platform of the Katsura Imperial Villa. The newly installed bath and toilet are spacious and barrier-free, so you can bathe together or use them easily even if you need assistance. We installed popin.aladdin (lighting with projector) in one of the Japanese-style rooms. It projects on the sliding doors You can watch TV, music, movies, etc. Enjoy BGM on YouTube before you go out in the morning. In autumn, rice terraces shine on one side, surrounded by golden rice hens. In winter, the straw bundles piled up after the rice harvest create the winter treasures of the rice terraces. Guest house Kisansei Seseragi

The guesthouse where the green water boils from Mt. Yoshino creates a high waterfall and pours it into the elephant creek. Manyo singers and travelers are also nostalgic and nostalgic. Koyasan Pilgrimage route／villa

Japan's tiny home in Koyaguchi offers two guest rooms, ideal for up to 4 guests, with a minimum of one group per day. An extra fee applies from the second person. Accessible via JR station with a Japan Rail Pass, it features a kitchen for self-catering and indoor bicycle storage. It’s an 8-minute drive to Natural Onsen Yunosato and a 6-minute walk to Koyaguchinoyu public bathhouse. Directions are available in the guidebook. Please save it to your favorites for easy access.
