I am probably a little biased, as I had been in the area many times throughout my life, and I've always loved this old town part of Kungälv. The buildings are made up of lots of historic landmarks. There is a beautiful old church nearby with stunning interior craftsmanship and design. The river walk, with lots of pretty water fowl and gardens is bare a minute from the location. And a couple minutes walk beyond all of these is an ancient fortress, first built in 1308, looking out over the river that runs all the way up to Stockholm from the west coast. The property has all the amenities one could need, and while its close to everything, its very private and peaceful. The owners are super proactive and respond quickly to any questions. I could go on, but I think its enough to say this is as advertised, and a lovely place to stay. Highly recommend 👌

Anette was able to accommodate our last-minute reservation easily. The apartment is clean and bright, extremely peaceful in a beautiful area. Amenities were exactly what we needed. She was also extremely helpful and went above and beyond in order to help us with a very difficult situation. We would be glad to book again!

We were two adults and two kids plus a puppy. Sofia with family were amazing hosts and had prepared with bowls and towel even for the dog! During the stay we got several tips on excursions and other good advice. Overall, I can highly recommend both the accommodation and the host and if we go to Tjörn again, we will definitely check if it is available at Sofia's place!

Dyrön is a hidden gem on the Swedish west coast. Malin’s apartment is newly renovated and spotless and a fantastic option. Comfortably sleeps a family of 4 - there is a queen bed and a loft with two single mattresses for children. The unit is central on the island and is about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. Dyrön is a charming, relaxing island well worth a weekend visit. For those visiting from other countries - please note bed linens/towels are not provided which is normal for rentals on Dyrön. We would not hesitate to book again if we come back to Dyron in the future.

We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We certainly recommend this house. We felt at home and there is lot’s to see and do in the neighbourhood. The private island and he’s amazing sunsets is an amazing place to be. Gothenburg is an amazing, lovely and vibrant city and of course Liseberg parc is a must do. The beautiful islands that you can easily visit, different beaches to go in the neighbourhood… so much to do …. Just magnificent and the hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful little stuga on Åstol. Marcus had a lot of information for us and met us at the ferry. Full kitchen with dishwasher, gas cook top and electric range. A very comfortable and peaceful spot in an interesting community.

A home that exceeded what we expected. Fitted our big family very well, both children and adults. A patio with magnificent views up on the plot. Easy to get to different sights on Tjörn. Close to bike trails to exv. Rönnäng and Kyrkosund. Nice hosts who were very accommodating. We can highly recommend this home.
