Lakeside cabin with scenic views of Rukatunturi and surrounding fells. Set in quiet and pristine Finnish nature, yet only 10 minutes (10 km) from Ruka ski center. Apart from downhill skiing and cross country skiing (the FIS Nordic Combined season kicks off in Ruka) there are numerous hiking trails, including the famous Karhunkierros (Bear's Round), crosscountry ski &snowmobile routes, biking routes, fishing, bird watching, bear watching and also ample time to enjoy a sauna and peaceful silence.

A comfortable living area features a modern fireplace and a large television mounted on a white wall. A wooden table holds decorative elements, while a gray armchair and a coffee table with a plant provide seating. The open layout connects seamlessly to the kitchen.

Renovated semi-detached house (2br, 67sqm) in a quiet location, 5 km from Ruka. 500 m to the cross-country skiing track, 100 m to the snowmobile trail, and 4 km to the grocery store. The apartment is great for families or a group of friends. The floor plan is such that the smaller bedroom and the separate toilet are separated from the rest of the apartment by a door, so privacy is available. A nice atmosphere is created by an open fireplace, sauna, a terrace, and a forest landscape as a bonus.

The exterior of the cabin is framed by snow-covered pine trees, with a clear path leading to the entrance. Large glass windows invite natural light, reflecting the serene winter landscape. Soft layers of snow blanket the ground, creating a tranquil and inviting environment.

Surrounded by clean and quiet nature, Rokovan Helmi is a perfect hideaway for a group of 2 to 4. The cabin is built in 2019 and is designed by a local company Kuusamo Log Houses. It's a perfect fit for people who love their own peace in a modern environment, yet want all the services to be close at the same time. The cabin is a 6 minute car ride from the nearest East Ruka ski lifts and a 12 minute car ride from Ruka village services. Ski, snowmobil and outdoor trails can be found right nearby.

During the summer an attic room with a double bed is also in use. Use of a rowing boat, an Indian canoe and 2 stand-up paddleboards & use of the grillhut & firewood are included in the rent. You can also rent 1 single kayak separately, rental price 20€/day. Sandy-bottomed shallow beach facing south, providing a great swimming spot. Pets are also welcome!

The price includes 2 lift tickets in the winter season (value up to 575e for a week), a snow racer to the ski slopes (don't miss it) and a snow sled.
