We've already completed the following details for our room in March 2026. From now on, the experience will be better than before! We carefully selected distinctive materials from Japan, The main wall of the living room TV is covered with a high-end woven patterned wallpaper with a designer touch, Weizhou. It is Japan's largest and world-renowned woolen fabric production area, and the overall space presents a warm and cozy home atmosphere. This time, the bathroom has been specially renovated with herringbone woven tiles made with the highest craftsmanship from Gifu Prefecture, Japan. The tiles create a three-dimensional effect as light and shadow are refracted. Mino-yaki ceramics have a history of about 1,300 years, and the tile industry has been making these tiles for over a century. They are the most difficult tiles to produce. We have also carefully upgraded the Dyson hairdryer, the Dyson bladeless fan, the kettle from a Japanese design brand, the brand-new Daikin air conditioner in the living room, and the best shower head in Japan! The flooring is of the highest quality, sourced from the century-old Japanese company Asahi Wood Factory, which costs three times more than Chinese products. We also carefully select the bedding. We are delighted to announce that a new Japanese-style tatami room, where guests can experience Japanese tatami culture, has been added to our building.Previously, out of the more than ten rooms in the entire building, only one D2 four-person room was a Japanese-style room (and-shi), so many guests wanted to stay in a Japanese-style tatami room.In January 2026, we completed the upgrade to a new shared room C2. Currently, there are only two shared rooms in the entire building. If you want to experience the traditional Japanese-style room feel, this is a good option! Welcome to our convenient and quiet accommodation in Kyoto, where you can enjoy your trip to Kyoto with ease and relaxation. It took us two years to find this building, which is in a good location, quiet, and has an elevator, and then another year of earnest negotiations with the owner before we finally had the opportunity to purchase and operate it.Most of the residents in the building are Japanese, so guests can experience the daily life of Japanese people more authentically. We put a lot of effort into designing the dozens of rooms in the entire building in different styles. Many of the themes in each room were handcrafted and painted by us, and it took us about a month or more on average to add each new room.
