Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in La Fare-les-Oliviers

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

We felt like home from the very beginning. Pascal and his family are extremely friendly and caring. We were warmly welcomed and Pascal was giving us incredible advices on places to explore around the area. For us his interest in cycling fitted very well. He gave perfect route advices and joined for a memorable trip through lovely villages in the Provence. The house and the garden is very calm and a perfect spot to organise different trips. We felt very comfortable in the house. Everything you need is available and just as described. In the garden, the traffic from the road was clearly audible but not really disturbing. It's a wonderful retreat from which we were able to explore the surrounding area. The communication was also very friendly and attentive.

An excellent apartment in the heart of the old town. Beautifully decorated with charming French antiques and art but not over decorated at all, a selection of pretty dishes and glassware that made lunches and breakfast from the daily farmers’ market in Aix a joy to prepare. Spacious, clean, super comfortable bed, elegant tub and shower, accommodations for our baby. The list goes on. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Moments from the best cafes, boulangeries and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves so much and slept very well here. The only thing to note with luggage and a baby, is there is no elevator and it’s 6 floors up. A good workout in the heat but the place is air conditioned and beautiful so it’s worth it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful vacation in the Provence! Valerie's place is beautiful and set in one of the most beautiful and quiet villages in the region. It has great views and it made us feel really at home. The apartment has everything that we needed - it was clean, very cozy and tastefully furnished. Valerie was a great host - she gave us excellent recommendations about the local restaurants and we felt really welcomed there. We will definitely come back!

Excellent rental for both of us, we were able to enjoy all the outdoor space including the large pool in complete privacy because Bruno makes sure to leave us alone in all his private outdoor space. Lise has incredible taste, very similar to our own. We loved the apartment, the air conditioning was a blessing, the rooftop terrace was heavenly and the location was hard to beat. If we ever come to Aix again, we will definitely book Lise’s apartment. She was also very helpful and responsive. We can’t thank you enough as it was a brilliant start to our holiday

We had a nice time in St Chamas. The accommodation is a little smaller than we thought, as the sofa, bed and kitchen are in the same room, but we were traveling as a couple and that was enough for us. The kitchen had all the dishes you needed to cook and prepare food and the bathroom was also well equipped. The air was relatively warm and a little humid in the accommodation, so it was good that there was a fan that we turned on when we were in the apartment. The terrace is sweet, but directly on the small street between the houses, so we didn't use it that often. You can walk directly to the lake and to restaurants and bakeries, which was great. Unfortunately, the lake smells very strongly of fish, and there are nets out to dry, so we were unable to use the lake at this point. We did many day trips, for which this accommodation was ideal for us.

Thanks to Laurence for her welcome, her very well-equipped accommodation (commechez soi), spacious with private and quiet garden. Beautiful birdsong and no disturbing barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

Nice, fresh and bright accommodation. The sofa bed was good. Protected patio. The proximity to the train station was excellent.

Very nice centrally located apartment with great amenities. Although the apartment is right by the ferry port, it is pleasantly quiet in the apartment. Bonus points for the very comfortable bed. Manuel was always available and welcomed us warmly :)

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Admiring a magnificent sunset from the terrace overlooking a pond, a beautiful view and an extraordinary calm, that's what I keep in mind from my short stay in this beautiful, well-equipped and well-functioning apartment. Arrived at 2 a.m. with two small children, the welcome booklet sent by Alfred before arrival reassured me about the organization. The baby bed already prepared, the apartment that contains everything you need to stay there as a family and especially the calmness gave me good reason to choose this accommodation for my stay rather than going to the hotel.
