Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Roche-sur-Yon

We spent 2 nights in Frédéric's little house. Everything went well, very clean house, Frédéric is welcoming and friendly.

We had a great stay at the Hasard house the terrace with pool is superb and invites rest and wonderful moments with friends. the house is within walking distance of the village of La Chaume with local shops and 5 minutes' drive from the rest. and at the end of yours the beach... the location is ideal. Elodie is adorable, responsive and very accommodating a great time.

The house is absolutely in line with the listing. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoker). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

Great place to stay; peaceful and the pool, bbq and outdoor eating places on site are great. Photos accurately describe the place. Great view looking out over the meadow while eating a meal or having a drink. The house we stayed in was very recently renovated so everything is in great condition. We’ll happily be staying here again!! Melanie is a fantastic host; really one of the best we’ve encountered on Airbnb; she’s communicative, friendly and informative. We had some problems (car rental) and Melanie went out of her way to help us. We can’t thank Melanie enough and look forward to staying at La Millière in the future

Very nice accommodation with all the necessary amenities and impeccably clean, the coffee offered after 5 hours of driving was very appreciated. Our hosts were very friendly. I disturbed them 3 or 4 times and the exchange was superb and pleasant courtesy. I highly recommend this accommodation which, with these hosts, met our expectations.

We spent a wonderful weekend discovering the charms of the Marais and the north of the Vendee. The setting is peaceful and refreshing, with plenty of activities nearby. We enjoyed local specialties like brioche and oysters, and ended our stay with nice billiards at the accommodation — a real pleasure! Very nice welcome from Christine who, having been unable to make herself available to welcome us, had prepared the stove: all that was left was to light the match! The accommodation is clean, functional, warm and spacious: perfect for taking a break, whatever the weather. We also took advantage of our stay at Christine's to go to Puy du Fou, located 25 minutes from the accommodation. The exchanges with Christine are warm and jovial, thanks again for everything!

Great apartment and very convenient walking distance to all amenities. Christele is very sweet. The parking is a bit expensive (approx 20eur/day) but the location is convenient. There is no air conditioning so as the weather heats up in the summer it might be uncomfortable to sleep. It was on the edge last week. Opening the windows is loud and welcome mosquitos. Everything else is good.

central accommodation in a lively neighborhood. close to the castle, train station 1 tram stop from the train station. The only "defect" is the lack of brightness. small terrace

Very well located accommodation, nice shops in the upper town, great organic and biodynamic wine shop right next door, beautiful city and environment, helpful and welcoming population, perfect welcome with cafes etc, we will come back

The apartment is great overall for family of 4. 1 large, but shared bathroom. No separate WC. Some age on the furnishings. Well laid out and had all housewares needed. Decor is curated. Excellent location. Friendly and accommodating host. (AC would have made this an even better stay. )

We spent a wonderful Pentecost weekend at Villa Isis Atlantique in Portes-en-Ré. The setting is simply idyllic: the house is spacious, tastefully decorated, and perfectly equipped for a stay with family or friends. The garden, the bowling alley, the half basketball court, the pool table and the swimming pool add a touch of serenity and luxury that invites you to relax. We particularly appreciated the proximity of the beach and the center of the village, while enjoying absolute calm. A big thank you to our hosts for their warm welcome and availability. We leave with memories in our heads... We will come back with great pleasure!

We had a fantastic week as a family of 10, ranging in age 83 to 16. The space was absolutely perfect for us to spend time together in the lounge and around the swimming pool. Not many places are this close to a beautiful sandy beach with les halles less than 5 mins away by cycle. We loved Les Bois en Plage and highly recommend it for everything it has to offer. A special thanks to Emmanuelle for being such a responsive and considerate host...answering so many of our questions!

Eve was a fantastic host and reacted very flexibly to a mistake I made in the reservation. The house is as it appears in the photos, very clean and with a lot of equipment. Everything is tastefully laid out. There are games for the kids. The hosts are very attentive and kind and respond to all needs. This house is really worth it

Amazing accommodation, I came to spend a weekend with family (7 people) and it was perfect! We didn't step on each other's toes because the accommodation is very large. The pool was super well maintained, the neighborhood was quiet and discreet. I recommend it 100%, I would come back. A big thank you to Anthony for this beautiful accommodation and his kindness. We very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. Particularly useful having all ensuite bathrooms. Easy to bike into La Flotte or walk along by the sea. The pool was warm and the gas bbq was great as we cooked in a couple of evenings. As mentioned in previous reviews the furnishings were shabby chic which fitted well with the area. Isabelle was very helpful with the check in and out and had many recommendations for places to visit and eat.

We were a family of 5 adults and 2 kids (6 and 2). The sleeping arrangements worked out very well and the kids really loved the playroom and swimming pool. The beaches (one within easy walking distance and one a 4/5 minute drive away) were excellent (no showers though?) with nice beach bars/restaurants. The nearby zoo is worth a visit - clean and the animals looked well looked after. All in all an excellent family holiday.
