Holiday rentals with breakfast in La Spezia

It was just great at Massimiliano's! A warm, always accessible host. Even at 5:45 in the morning on the day of departure, he prepared a delicious breakfast with smoothie and crostini and drove me to the train station! I was allowed to use one of the bikes for 4 days, which is worth its weight in gold to me! The room I had is bright and airy with its own balcony. You can sit in front of the house, where Massimiliano served breakfast. You can use the well-equipped kitchen. Great. Pine forest and beach Maurizio (you have to go there 》Stefano and Claudia are totally nice and warm and the beach not too expensive) are close, and the bar 4/20 Electricafé, also a highlight. Cool people, great music, delicious burgers. If you like Syrian food, you should definitely go to Dal Siriano. SO, I was completely happy & satisfied with Massimiliano and Alessandra - but unfortunately I did not meet them personally. I would love to come back to Viareggio and to Massimiliano!

We spend almost a week here, and really enjoyed our staying. Kang was super friendly and helpful. Her place is a cosy home with a beautiful view, and there are great places in the near. We loved it very much.

It was an amazing experience, we liked the view and the house itself a lot.

A very nice place where you can find a lot of peace. A car is essential to get to restaurants. It should not bother you that the church bell rings at 7 in the morning. Francesco's family welcomed us very kindly and we felt very comfortable. The apartment has everything you need and is modernly furnished. Definitely recommended!

We had a great time, the place is even more beautiful than in the photos including the view and the terraces. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and very responsive.

Michele took very good care of us, we even had a free shuttle service to the train station to go to the national park, incl. advice. He recommended very good restaurants and even made reservations for us. The accommodation was very clean and he is very eager to fulfill every wish. It was a wonderful experience, in a house that to say perfect is to say little: private parking, house well-stocked with everything, very clean, quiet, a great mattress, even the possibility of eating out thanks to a private terrace. All this is set in the context of the small town of Pitelli, a hamlet 8 km from La Spezia, which has an excellent supermarket, a pizzeria, an Arci club, a butcher shop and even a pharmacy! All within a 3-4 minute walk from the house. Enviable location, impeccable service from the host and attentive to our needs: we can't wait to go back!

Federica and Francesco are the best host & hostess I ever met. When they learnt we don't have big luggage, they offer a ride from port to apartment, which is really considerate at a hot, humid noon. Also, they offered us a late check out as no immediate next guest. And for the apartment, it is comfortable and well equipped, basically you have everything you need. All in the apartment are organized, new and clean, a luxury that travellers can ever have. Definitely a must stay in La Spezia.

Gabrielle was a wonderful host. Her home is lovely, the views are spectacular, location is great. If you are looking for a great place this is the one for you.

Lorella’s place is wonderful! It had all of the space and amenities that my husband. 2-year-old and I needed. It was larger than I expected with one bedroom, a living room, kitchen/eating area and a wrap-around balcony. Loved the walkability of Lavagna. The apartment is within a 10 minute walk of anything we needed. She had great recommendations for restaurants! Thank you Lorella!

Franc made us feel very welcome in this cosy Airbnb. It is easy walking distance to the train-station which is a real bonus in this area. You really feel the vibe of the location and is in a great position to do all the fantastic walks using the local C.T pass ticket. Franc was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. We would love to go back if possible. Wee note. - if using a mobile phone for communication during travelling you loose communication regularly with all the tunnels so best to make arrangements before you get on the train.

Great stay, they have two clean and tidy apartments, they made us find the cot for the baby. Alessandro and his wife are 2 wonderful people, super hospitable with their youngest daughter, they stopped to talk to us and give us tips on what to see in La Spezia, they offered us coffee, with them we felt at home as a family! They left us breakfast and something to eat in the fridge! We couldn't find a better place in the area! Maybe someone can bother the noise of motorcycles in the morning on the main street, but if you close the windows you won't hear the loud noise. Spacious and well described apartment for 2 of us. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather to take advantage of the outdoor space but this would have been lovely. What made our stay so excellent was the great communication and personal and friendly welcome. Giuliano was there to meet us and give us helpful advice and then Giuseppe and Laura were so friendly and helpful during our stay, despite our poor grasp of Italian! We were even offered a lift to the station on our departure. A real old fashioned personal Airbnb experience. Thank you all so much.

We had a great stay at Lia and Francesca's. The accommodation was very clean and spacious and well located for visiting the area. We appreciated the small attentions of our hosts, as well as the advice and responsiveness. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Gorgeous knock your eyes out views from this property! Close to Vernazza but if you are my age (mid-60’s) pay a porter to carry your bags up to the property!

We really enjoyed our stay at Debora’s! The place was very spacious, clean and the garden (including cats and turtle!) felt peaceful. It was such a nice shift in scenery from our previous cramped stays. We had everything we needed, from laundry, a drying rack, a mini fridge, heated towel rack, skylight, and a selection of breakfast items prepared by Debora herself! She was able to accommodate a vegan and a meat-eater. She was super flexible on the timing of breakfast which helped us fuel up for a long hike in Cinque Terre. Debora was very communicative and helpful, even letting us know about the fireworks show in town. The location was easy to find. However, we ended up needing to walk/take a taxi to or from La Spezia Centrale later in the evening when buses stop running as frequently. Something to keep in mind if you plan on being out late and do not want to walk too far. Overall, a very lovely stay!

Cristina and Gianpiero’s place is the perfect stay for exploring Cinque Terre! The room is spacious and adorable with a great seaview, and the bathroom is well equipped. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were so many thoughtful details that really made our stay exceptional, not to mention the delicious breakfast we enjoyed each morning. They are extremely kind and friendly hosts and we truly enjoyed our stay!

We loved staying at this B&B. Felt at home and loved the beautiful flower pots at the back entrance that greeted us every day. Great breakfast of delicious Ligurian focaccia, cake, yogurt, and good coffee. The room was so spacious, luminous and equipped with everything: comfy bed, side lamps, small fridge, cutlery, dishes, teakettle, table with chairs both inside and on the balcony. The beach was perfect, with no waves. Like a giant sea water pool. Most of all, we loved Mirella and Paola's warmth, kindness, and knowledge of the area. We can't wait to return. Highly recommend. We had a great time in Nadia's apartment, it is well equipped, clean, comfortable and quiet. Nadia was available and ready in the communication, providing us with useful information on the services and itineraries of the area. The apartment is in a favorable location for the excursions we wanted to do (Lerici, Tellaro, Sarzana but also walks on the inland trails). Recommended.

We had a lovely stay! Breakfast was a total highlight, it was delivered to our balcony every morning to enjoy! Raffaelle was extremely responsive and helpful, we felt right at home. It should be noted, if you are going to make the walk from the train station to the hotel with luggage, take the route a car would take, NOT the walk your phone will tell you. It is only stairs and gravel for 10 minutes straight, it’s nearly impossible to haul your luggage up. Lastly, the beds were SUPER comfortable and the AC was a much needed plus at this time of year. It was exactly what we needed and the hospitality exceeded expectations, totally recommend.

Beautiful stay in Corniglia!! When doing research you will see many people trying to steer you away from Corniglia, but it was our favorite place we stayed during our 2 week vacation to Italy. While there are daunting stairs there is also a shuttle bus that runs regularly throughout the day that can bring you up to the town. Cristiana is lovely. She recommended some great local spots and the focaccia at her bar is to die for! We hope to be back next time we are in the area. Corniglia and Cristian’s bnb is a little slice of heaven!
