Holiday rentals with lake access in L'Aiguillon-la-Presqu'ile

Very nice stay, we had a great time in the pool! The house is very well arranged, very clean, large closets for storage and matches the photos. Super nice gas barbecue! We had a very good contact with Hervé's parents who live in the house next door and are very friendly. The house is very clean, well-equipped with even small gifts on arrival. If you come with young children, beware that the pool area is not protected (no barrier or other), it has a retractable hard cover that must be closed. Thanks a lot for a great weekend!

We put the car (in a secure place) and visited the sands of olonne for three days by bike really very pleasant, because close to the center, the beaches ... It makes you want to come back!! You can't dream of a better welcome than Evelyne's😊. We were treated to coffee, homemade flan, and a visit to the beautiful garden. And we left with cherries🙂. Great locations for this pretty little house, very practical, thanks in particular to its exterior. It is very well equipped and very pretty. The only small downside maybe, the master bedroom is upstairs and the children's bedroom downstairs, but otherwise everything was great!

Very nice and well-equipped accommodation. Very clean with the necessary sheets and towels. Impeccable communication with our host. The directions to the accommodation were very clear. The little extra is the positioning of the accommodation on the edge of the camping area, so it's quite quiet and with a view of the lake. 😀 I recommend both the accommodation and the Concierge. Beautiful accommodation, authentic, no fuss, everything is planned for a pleasant stay. Lots of attention for children with board games for all ages, costumes, outdoor games. 35 minutes from Puy du Fou, 50 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonne.... We appreciate the basic necessities to be immediately comfortable (laundry, soap, groceries, enough to have lunch...) as well as the beds made. We also appreciate the possibility of going to see the animals, picking a strawberry or collecting an egg... Excellent value for money!!!

We spent a week in mid-July with family (2 adults 2 small children) in this little house in Port des Barques. The house is true to the photos, well equipped with an enclosed garden ideal for children. The house is well located in the city center of Port des Barques. The bakery and children's games are all within walking distance. Be careful though, the beach (with water reserve) is accessible rather by bike, difficult to walk there. Bikes available in the accommodation. The coastline is flat, it is an oyster farming area so no beaches where swimming is possible nearby except the one with the water reserve 5-10min by bike. Otherwise possibility to get to Fouras 30min by car. Quiet, relaxing stay and beautiful discovery of a region that we did not know!

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

Monique's house exceeded all our expectations. If you wanted peace and quiet then Chateau-Guibert is the place for you. The house is set in beautiful gardens with a wonderful view of the small fishing lake. There are no shops - only a baguette dispenser! - but Mareuil sur Lay Dissais was only about 5kms away by car. This was a charming village. The pool at the house made it as the coast is about an hour's drive away. We did go to La Rochelle and Les Sables D'Olonne and the coast inbetween, all about an hour's drive away as well. The house itself was extremely comfortable and very well kitted out - there was everything you could possibly need and more. Several different seating areas outside as well. Monique could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a delight to meet her. We would highly recommend this holiday home, and would be very happy to return here.
