Monthly Rentals in Lake Barcroft

Juniper Place was a more than lovely stay for our 2 families. The home was pristine, beds were amazingly comfortable, kitchen, dining area nicely accommodated. The backyard with fireplace was an added bonus that we enjoyed several evenings during our stay, basement with additional living space and gaming for teens was also great! Kitchen snacks, drinks and amenities was a wonderful touch! Great property and great host, highly recommended!! Job well done Jack :-}

This is a great property for those visiting the DC area. Bedrooms each allow privacy (and the basement living space felt like its pwn secluded apartment!) but the communal spaces (deck/yard and living room) gave us wonderful social areas (we even invited some guests over for a luncheon "en plein air"). Close to anywhere you really want to go in the DC area (the Mall, DCA, Arlington/Alexandria) and plenty of local spots (the Harris Teeter is literally 3 minutes away!). A+ location.... you will not be disappointed with this beautiful house and yard/deck!

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

This is such a lovely peaceful cabin. The hosts came to greet me and were very friendly. It has a separate entrance and driveway and is well-lit. I could have stayed here much longer, it was such a little gem. The back deck is lovely, you get to look out into the forest, and yet you’re half a mile away from shops and restaurants. It’s a great little enclave in the middle of society. A perfect escape. I was happy to discover they had coffee and a coffee maker. Everything was clean. The bathroom is small and you have to remove your toiletries to shower, since the shower goes directly onto the toilet and sink, almost RV vibes. Not an issue but good to be aware of. It’s a bit on the pricey side (I paid around $300 for a night, which included an extra $20 to have the flexibility to cancel if I needed) but it’s such a magical place, I knew I wouldn’t cancel, and surely glad I didn’t. Pretty perfect as far as Airbnb’s go! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay! Totally recommend.
