Definitely recommend Rita’s place to everyone who enjoys peaceful retreat with only 25 mins to Interlaken. They are wonderful hosts, always responsive, helped a lot during our stay!

I love the lake view! I was able to enjoy a view that was more impressive than the photos. I was a little lost about check-in and parking, but I was able to solve it by reading the guide link sent by the host! It was nice that the location was very close to the Spitz Castle and the lake. Some of the cooking ingredients were a little old, but other than that, it was well-equipped, so I was able to stay comfortably. If you want to enjoy the lake view from Spitz, I recommend it!

Our stay at Maria’s place was heavenly! So beautiful and inviting. The apartment was decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable. The views of the mountains were spectacular and the sound of the river was very enjoyable! Maria was so kind and attentive. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to spend my 60th birthday! The walk to the train station was a beautiful walk. Such a charming town. We would love to return one day! Thank you Maria for everything!

Dieter and Sylvia’s apartment is incredible, more beautiful than pictured, on an aquamarine lake with views of snowcapped peaks, farmhouse-dotted mountains, and windsurfers whipping around like dragon flies. We would have happily sat on the patio all day. Or better yet, on the stone steps with our feet in the lake! When time came to go indoors, each room was tasteful and comfortable, with big windows and phenomenal views. The kitchen is well designed, equipped with everything you need. And the apartment was spotlessly clean. There is a ton to do in the area and the town of Flüelen is relaxed and easy. We hope to come back to experience it in winter! Dieter and Sylvia were very generous with their attention, making sure our needs were met in the apartment and pointing us in the direction of special activities outside. Their kindness and hospitality made a big impression on us. This is a magical place. Hands down, our best AirBnB ever.

Reto is super friendly and apparently speaks many languages perfectly! The kitchen is not only very pretty, combining antique and charming furniture with recent appliances of very good quality (induction stove, vacuum hood of the future, all the necessary utensils available, beautiful fridge... all impeccably clean). Difficult then to return to our modest urban apartment 😅 We didn't miss anything, it's also possible to eat outside. Garbage containers are very close, no problem without a car. Same for the bathroom, comfortable and generously provided with towels of different sizes and much appreciated basics. The whole place is extremely cozy and comfortable, very welcoming and warm. We hope to return soon! And the area is absolutely fantastic, we had the chance to do magical hikes and hopefully we can come back to Reto in the winter!

Nice apartment, spacious living area, comfortable bed,nice balcony, kitchen quite small but fully equipped. Very peaceful area but only a few minutes walk to local supermarket, train station and the village pub! Thun is a short drive away or a couple of hours walk on the riverside path. The pub served typical pub meals, they were large and cheap. Annemarie and her daughter were both very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

The five of us felt very comfortable in this house. Each room has its own bathroom. The house is open and spacious. Advantageous when the weather is not so good. So everyone can find a private spot. And the kitchen invites you to cook. The view of the lake and the "Niesen" is fantastic. We spent a relaxing and great week at Lake Thun. Many thanks to the hosts G.H.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

Thank you for having us in your beautiful home. It's very comfortable, decorate with love and a lot of taste. All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. Our children felt right at home— immediately making art with the paper Sonja left for them. We appreciated all the details and supplies for child-friendly stay. Walking to the lake and jumping in was a highlight. The views from the family room were stunning.

Perfect airbnb for your stay on lake Lugano!

Christa’s place was excellent. Our family of 6 stayed there as a main location for us to explore the beautiful area. Easy walk to the train station which made it excellent to connect to other train stations. Our kids enjoyed playing in the peaceful creek. We were also treated to some Swiss cows grazing in the field behind. I would highly recommend this place for any family looking to explore Switzerland.

This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with Isabelle and Heinz in their beautiful house in the Emmental. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view. Bern (!) and Burgdorf (Franz-Gertsch-Museum) were very worthwhile. I’m so glad I chose to stay at this adorable, relaxing apartment. The location pays for itself with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn from the living room and tranquil river sounds from the bedroom (if you open the windows). There was also a yellow wisteria (golden chain tree?) in full bloom and birds cooing on the branches making which added to the beauty of the surrounding environment. The location is perfect to feel you’re experiencing the best of Zermatt but not in the middle of crowds. Only a 10 min walk to the train station, 6 min to the Migros grocery and 15-20min walk to Gorner Gorge. This place does not have an elevator. Not an issue for me since I packed fairy light but a thing to consider if you’re interested in booking this place. Sebastian is also very responsive and was kind to allow me to check in early. Would highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was clean and tidy upon arrival, which we really appreciated. Upon check-in, we received clear instructions on how to enter, which made everything easy. The apartment is exactly as described. The location is easy to find and there’s a shopping center within walking distance, which was super convenient. We felt comfortable right away and were able to fully relax. We’d be happy to come back again! 😄

A very nice apartment. Check-in and check-out well organized. Great location. We liked it a lot. The street is very busy, so we had to keep the windows closed at night. The windows are well insulated, but you could still easily hear the traffic. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the beach, but we were able to lie down next to the water.

Strengths) 10 steps to the train station is enough. It's convenient because it's 3 stops to Grindelwald Station. The parking lot is also good, and the rooms are separated, so it's nice. The kitchen is also well equipped with all the necessary items. There is a stream outside the window, so the sound of the water is so nice. Disadvantage) It is a little noisy because it is close to the road.
