It’s a mini paradise of your own with the self contained guest suite of their family home with an outdoor area facing the beautiful rainforest garden. I could’ve watched the birds cleaning in the bird bath for hours. The access to the Johnson River at the bottom of their property is perfect to watch the world go by or to spot a platypus. They’ve got a beautiful family home in a beautiful part of the world. Close to Malanda and Yungaburra, it’s the perfect out of town retreat but still only a short distance to 2 beautiful little towns.

Extremely comfortable well appointed accommodation with a quaint cottage feel. Peaceful setting in beautiful natural surrounds. Gorgeous yard which became a wildlife sanctuary at night. Great location from which to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Communicative and helpful host. We're so glad we stayed at Hemingway's on the Hill. Thank you Fifi.

Leann's cottage was a great choice for our group. It was clean and very well equipped for all our needs. Leann was an accommodating host, making a special effort to allow us to check in early.

Had a great weekend get away at Wompoo Cottage. Helen was a fantastic host. The cottage is full of character and charm while being pristine and clean. Thank you for the eggs and other breakfast supplies. The beds were also comfy which is important for us. Thanks Helen. We will be back :).
