Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Joseph

Cozy Shores is a beautiful spot and a lovely well appointed home. Directly on the water and easy to get to with restaurants and shopping within minutes . Everything was exactly as described - no disappointments . Hot tub and sauna were clean and in good working order . Dorothy was a a generous and responsive host and we immediately felt at home. We truly appreciated her offer of late checkout ! There is lots of privacy inside and out , and pet friendly is a bonus. We highly recommend and we'll be back at our first opportunity . Sooper awesome and amazing host Valeriya!! Valeria’s river house is an extraordinary getaway. She was really awesome and friendly, and was available for us when we arrived even during bad weather and patiently gave us a tour of the house, hot tub and everything available in the vicinity. Valeriya was quick to respond to all our queries and provided flexible check-in time. The place is really awesome with clear instructions. The hot tub was clean and had all amenities next to it. It’s an amazing experience during the night. We enjoyed it. All cooking utensils were neat and clean, we loved cooking and felt right at home. The house was really cozy and comfortable having a fireplace.If you are planning for a sunbath that’s even available with beach view, bring your beach blanket! Our stay here was fantastic. The house is big with plenty of rooms for a big group. It was clean and orderly. There is a beautiful dock with a canoe, kayak and life jackets. Our host Fred was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend this to anyone looking a cottage getaway.

we saw Cypress Hill at the Kee! Super close to the venue, Tina (host) even had a ride set up to and from the concert! lots to do in the garage with games etc. perfect because it was raining all weekend. highly recommend!

This place was a great size for our group of 10 and had a very spacious and comfortable main room where we could all gather to eat, play games and relax. The sauna is a nice feature as well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Kersti and her co-hosts were very responsive, accomodating and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at Maya & Greg’s cottage. We spent the May long weekend here and loved the peaceful environment and beautiful surroundings. The cottage was exactly as pictured, there was lots to do, and the hosts were very friendly. Highly recommend!

Great place and great host..they were quick to respond to queries..and the big yard on the side was a big plus which other properties generally do not have..will be booking again next year..

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The space was exactly as described. Bryan was incredibly responsive, making check-in smooth and the stay hassle-free. The cottage is by the lake with perfect views from the patio. We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, the wine bottle, and a well stocked kitchen. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

What a gem! This lovely cottage was everything we wanted. Private, clean and super cozy. The view from the deck steps away from the back porch was absolutely beautiful. Douglas was very friendly! His response time was very quick to any questions and he made sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations for around the area were super helpful too. Definitely recommend!

On the way up to this beautiful getaway, my wife and I were laughing at how many reviews say "We'll be back" whenever you're looking to travel somewhere and read the reviews prior to booking... We'd say, "How many people actually go back a second or third time?" ... Of course, our main thoughts after our weekend here was we will be coming back 100%. Incredible location, privacy, beautiful lake view as seen in the pictures. The fireplace inside a nice added touch as our weekend was fairly cold, even for May. For those looking to cook, the BBQ is clean and of excellent quality.

Loved our stay at River Vista! The attention to detail was what makes this cottage luxury: from beautiful live plants, to plenty of convenient storage, comfy beds and a giant couch perfect for enjoying the forest view, playing board games or snuggling with a book. Loved walking to the falls, as well as just watching the river flow. The private mini hike was a cool surprise too. Last but not least, Natasha and Matt are responsive and helpful - thank you! We can’t wait to return in the summer so we can float, paddle board and canoe 🛶.

We booked the airbnb very last minute and Lixin reached out to us promptly and gave us clear instructions. The cottage is stunning , it actually looks better than the pictures. overall, we had a wonderful weekend over there.

Great rustic place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Reminded me of my childhood family cottage. It was private and had everything one needs in a semi offgrid location. Bill was prompt, accommodating and friendly. Bring more firewood than you'll think you'll need! Thanks again, Bill!

We had a great time here celebrating my son's 6th birthday and Father's Day. Not many places can boast a great little private beach plus a dock, and the fishing off the beach was great. We also saw lots of turtles, including some babies, which were adorable. The beds are super comfortable, as is the living room. We loved having use of the paddle boat to see more of the natural beauty of the lake. Great spot!

I highly recommend the Lake House in Dorset/Raven Shores. This cottage was perfectly situated and close to scenic attractions and many trails. The property was picturesque morning, noon, and night. The perfect spot with easy access to the lake. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none, exceeding my expectations every time. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly. The cottage was warm and Cozy "just like home." It was equipped with everything a family would need and more. We would stay again.

Our stay at Otter Lake was relaxing and enjoyable. Photos don't do this cottage justice, it was extremely spacious for us (4 adults and 1 pet). We spent most of our time swimming in the lake, bbqing, sitting on the dock or around the fire pit. The lake is soooo peaceful and when we arrived we were greeted by a loon 🥹. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat, thank you for your hospitality, Taylor!

We rented 2 cottages on same premises for this booking, and hosts were able to accomodate our needs. Very responsive hosts, with clear instructions and descriptions of the place. Unit 4B is our fave place to hang as its closer to the river and has bright space. Back Porch is enclosed with glass window and screen for night hang out place when you wanna avoid mosquitos outside and/if it’s raining outside. You still feel like youre outside with the comfort of staying inside :) 4A is nice if guests wants privacy at night, coz its has 2 queen size bed and bunk bed (3 BR). Both cottages can use all the water activity stuff. Nice to fish here too. Bonfire at night is great as well with free fire woods from the hosts. Location from Toronto is great, as you will feel like youre far away but it’s just 1.5hrs drive.
