Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Superior

"Viewpoint" has alot to offer from the spectacular views towards the lake & beyond. Spacious kitchen & living area which includes a album collection enjoyed by all. Spent alot of time on the deck enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The Lutsen area has alot to offer and we definitely took advantage of some. The Red cabin was cute ! Overall our stay was very nice and fit our expectations . Thank you, till the next time..

We wanted a quiet mini family get away for the long Memorial Day weekend and this place did not disappoint! We all felt right at home and appreciated the cleanliness and location. The beach was beautiful and serene, kitchen was well stocked with every kind of kitchen tool you could imagine. All linens were very clean and good quality!

What can you say? This home has a gorgeous private black sand beach in a small cove directly below the house. So beautiful and peaceful, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house itself is lovely with very nice linens and super comfortable beds and pillows and a charming cabin vibe. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is fantastic- near Split Rock lighthouse, Tettegouche and Gooseberry Falls. The communication about how to check in and what amenities are available is incredibly detailed and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Very nice experience. It was an unbelievablely beautiful house (photos don't do it justice). The hosts were friendly and helpful.

I want to give this place 100 ⭐️ and at the same time selfishly give it 1 ⭐️ so I can book it whenever I want 😂 Seriously, this place is a real gem. It was super clean, quiet, so incredibly peaceful. The lake is so serene and inviting. The paddle boat was under repair but we took out the canoe a few times and we literally had the lake to ourselves, enjoying the sounds of the wind and birds and just nature. We and our fur babies had such a wonderful time - we will be back! Also, the WiFi was impressive connection for the area. It was like the best of all worlds…being off the grid while still on it ❤️

My wife, dog and I stayed a week over the winter to get out of the city. Great place right on Lake Superior and next to the porkies. The Finnish sauna on the beach is unreal. We had such a blast we rented the place in the summer. Would highly recommend.

Ronda’s house was much more than expected, a little paradise. The house is beautifully decorated, oversees Teal lake with incredible sunsets, and is fully equipped. She goes above and beyond to make your stay smooth, by leaving those little things that you might need but did not think of packing for a short stay. We went for our son’s NMU graduation. Do sad I did not know this place before as I have been going to Marquette often the last four years. Would love to see it during fall, the views should be incredible with the colors. Will try to get back ;) and will recommend her house to anyone that wants to visit the UP.

This is our fourth summer staying with Keith and Julie and we can't wait to come back again. Their house is in a beautiful location, on the lake and right near a walking trail full of nature (we saw muskrats, mink, foxes, and lots of birds). The sauna and fire pit are top notch. And Keith and Julie are friendly, helpful, and quick with local recommendations.

We enjoy staying on Lake Callahan. Private and quiet location. Beautiful main house of Hostess and great cabin view and location on property. Fire circle and pier.

This is my second time staying at Chris' Air BnB. We had another great stay! My son pointed out how clean the place was. It is well stocked--the beds comfortable, and WI-FI is solid. The apartment is conveniently located 20 minutes from the porkies, 1 hour from Ironwood, and 50 minutes from Houghton. Ontonagon is an idyllic/sleepy village. Make sure you have breakfast at Syls and coffee at Connie's :). I plan on making Chris' place a yearly tradition.

Our stay at Loon Lake was wonderful! Janie was fantastic to deal with - very friendly and welcoming. Communication was great from the moment we booked. She shared helpful tips for us to prepare for our visit and made check-in a breeze. The property is beautiful and convenient to Hayward. The beds were very comfortable and the sound of the train only added to the charm. We would absolutely stay at Loon Lake again and plan to do so in the future. We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

I’m not sure where to begin.. It was a beautiful stay and a memorable few days spent at the cottage. My kids and I even got to enjoy a magical show put on by the northern lights above the shining Gitche Gumee last night! We had everything we needed and appreciated all of the little touches and amenities. We loved the retro feel and style of the place as well as the location and privacy. We will definitely be back! What a wonderful place to get away and recharge! We have 3 kids and manage a business in Traverse City. That said we are always on the go. Staying at Little Betsy really help my partner and I focus on eachother and reconnect! Even though the weather wasn’t the greatest, we had moments or clear skies and got to really enjoy the view from the cabin. We hiked Hungarian Falls which is only 30 minutes away and ate at Loading Zone ||. Food was wonderful and so where the people! 110% recommend! We are excited to make future plans to come back! We absolutely loved our stay at White Sky Woods! We hoped for a peaceful cabin surrounded by nature, but everything exceeded our expectations. In fact, we loved it so much that we spent two days just hanging out at the cabin and exploring the extensive trails. If you are a nature lover, you'll be in love with the beautiful wildflowers, beavers, unique butterflies, amazing birds, turtles, and more, all found right around the cabin. We happened to arrive during bird spring migration, and got several "lifers" around the cabin. We also loved that Lake Superior was an easy walk from the cabin. It's also an easy drive to lots of other fun things to do in the area (we especially enjoyed waterfalls and visiting a mine). Our two pups tagged along, and they loved it so much that they actually hid up in the loft when it was time to leave! They didn't want to go! The cabin was also clean, cute and comfortable. We can't recommend it enough!

This was my second stay at Corny Cottage. This place has anything you could possibly need. The kitchen has great cookware. The bedrooms are comfy and cozy. We spent most of the time in the sunroom or outside. Drank great coffee down by the dock. We grilled out. We used Erin's recommendations to help pick hikes and find cool, quiet beaches to hang out at. Already thinking about when I can get back here again.

We loved our time here-the little private beach was so fun to enjoy after hiking. Great bird watching and we saw a beaver. 😍 The house is so well curated-comfy beds and love the tub. Thank you! We would love to come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. There's a great balance of things to do and the peacefulness of this retreat space. One of our favorites was sitting on the back porch in the hammock chairs and not being bothered by mosquitos due to the screened porch surrounding you. We spotted Bald eagles, 2 foxes, and a coyote while here. We saw a black bear when we were out on our cruise too. Loved our time here and the comfort of this charming cabin.

Beautiful and peaceful stay with my husband and our two kids. Colette is a very responsive and thoughtful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and even went above and beyond to purchase new sand toys and a coloring book for my toddler. Her place was very clean and had great amenities. My husband and I enjoyed the view of the sun room after the kids were in bed and were able to close the door and not worry about talking too loudly. My son loved seeing the boats and airplanes pass by, along with the sizable yard to play, and the private beach and waterfront. The neighbors are close to the property but very friendly and kind. We had an amazing stay and feel refreshed after returning home. We hope to be back!

The Yonder House is full of warm, nostalgic ambience! I so enjoyed my stay here while my husband worked the LSPR Rally. It was exactly what I was looking for and the description and photos are spot on! It was very clean and the friendly host has thought of everything you might need. We were able to connect to the internet when needed to check in on work back home. It was a treat to curl up with a cup of coffee and a good book in the comfy recliner and take in the filtered views of a beautiful little lake. The fall colors were breathtaking this year and I hope to be back next year! Thank you Patrick, for sharing your little slice of heaven up here in the beautiful U.P.
