The Granny House was a beautiful home, spotlessly clean, well equipped and very spacious. Stunning walks from the door got this holiday off to a flying start. Jeanne's communication was excellent and she got back to us really quickly when I had a query the week before. She was also incredibly understanding and generous spirited about an accidental breakage....

The cottage was beautifully located and the views were peaceful with the grazing sheep and cows. We found the small grocery store that was a 10 minute drive very convenient. Also, Lancaster was a little further and had anything you might need. Windermere was about an hour's drive from the cottage.

My friend and myself spent a couple of days at Little Nook for some peace and quiet. We absolutely loved the place. so pretty and relaxing. Everything we needed was on hand, including a fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, spacious living area, and the hot tub was just wonderful! Sharon and Ralph were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.

Myself, my wife, kids and dogs had a fantastic stay in high Bentham. What a great location, plenty to do which ever way you like to turn out of the cottage. We’d like to thank Lee for the great stay, which was clean and as described in the listing. Plenty of room for us all over the 3nights 4days. If we’re ever back in the area, we will be contacting Lee again that’s for sure!

Absolutely lovely location on the end of a private road with farm animals and fields surrounding the property with a gorgeous river tracking down the valley adjacent to the property. Highly recommended

The house and grounds are really lovely and beautiful. Felt right at home when we turned up. Ann and Tony were very kind and responded quickly, when we messaged them. They were very happy to stop and have a chat. The views were picturesque. It was lovely having the sheep and lambs in the next field. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone visiting in this area.

A perfect base for the Yorkshire Three Peaks, the house is lovely and cosy with all the basic cooking equipment we needed and is in a beautiful setting. Josh was also a really friendly, relaxed & communicative host, we'd happily stay again (even if doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks once feels like enough for one lifetime!)

We booked this for a family of 8 and two little ones. The indoor/outdoor living is brilliant and the space was perfect for everyone to do what was needed without us being on top of each other! Very clean space, quick response times from hosts who were extremely accommodating. The location is great with lots of choice of activities in the surrounding areas for all ages!

Did not stay because my sister is disabled and the logistics of getting to the property were too complicated for us as we did not have a car

This was a beautiful cottage with everything you could need and more😊 Location was good just a 10 min walk into town Mason pub was really nice food and staff were great 😊 Would definitely return was a lovely stay 🥰

We have had a very cofortable stay at Laura's house. Great location for exploring Skipton, Gargrave and surrounding areas. And what a view from the kitchen window!

Beautiful location and amazing views from the hot tub. Premium shepherds hut experience. Can’t wait to go back again in the winter and use the wood burner!

We’ve had a fantastic week at Jim and Jen’s cottage which is in a great location for walking the dog, Jim was a great host and recommended some lovely walks with amazing views, The cottage was cosy and felt like home from home and the welcome pack was lovely too

We had the most amazing stay at this charming country barn! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views—rolling hills, open skies, and that peaceful countryside calm that’s hard to find. It’s the perfect spot for anyone who loves long local walks, fresh air, and nature right at their doorstep. The barn itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and full of thoughtful little extras that made our stay even more special. We especially loved the tuck shop—such a fun and nostalgic touch! You can really tell the hosts have put their heart into making this place feel like a home away from home. Speaking of the hosts, they were absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their local tips made our trip even better. We’re already planning our next visit. Couldn’t recommend this place more! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Amazing place to stay. We loved it, highly recommended. On our next trip to area this is our preferred place to stay. We went there to walk three peaks but this place was so lovely that in morning we had second thoughts as did not want to miss experience of staying there with such lovely surroundings . You feel in middle of nature with deers at your doorstep. Peaceful and quiet place.

We have just spent the week at Gill’s property in preparation for Christmas and all the ‘in-between’ days (where you don’t know what day of the week it is, or if you’re even still in December.) We were hoping for relaxation, in the middle of the country, with a crackling fire and lots of walks which is exactly what we had! We visited the local pubs (not walkable but in very close driving distance) and found some beautiful walks that were truly incomparable to our London/Essex surroundings. Gill was on hand for anything and everything and was very responsive before, during and after our visit. Gill was very welcoming and truly accommodating. The property was lovely, and felt very spacious for a 2 bed. We had a wonderful time in Yorkshire and will definitely be returning again in the near future.

Stunning property, location was great for the wedding we attended in Poulton, it would also serve as a great base for exploring the local area. The house was exceptionally clean and Jill was very proactive and flexible with the sleeping arrangements for the 8 adults in our family party. It was very homely with everything you would possibly need. Jill even ran out with her personal sewing kit when we had a wardrobe emergency which saved the day. The bedrooms were lovely and spacious and the bedding luxurious. The bathrooms were spotless, We would highly recommend a stay here, it did not disappoint in the slightest. Worth every penny!!

A fantastic experience from start to finish. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural setting with lots of great walks accessible without having to drive anywhere. There is a great local pub a 5 minute walk along the lane and plenty more a short hike away. Jim and Diane were the perfect hosts - respecting your privacy whilst always being available to answer any questions. The property was wonderful and perfectly set up for my elderly mother who has mobility issues - extremely comfortable with fantastic views of the surrounding fields and hills. We will definitely make a return visit in the future and thoroughly recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. Many thanks for a wonderful Easter break.

During a very stressful time I.e., in between moving house, my time at Julie’s was a very welcomed break. Her home was extremely relaxing and unbelievably comfortable. What a delight it was to have a morning coffee whilst looking out onto beautiful countryside, whilst finding myself mesmerised by the sight of a Heron, or waiting to catch a glimpse of Deer. Overall, the area was delightful, with plenty of walks right on your doorstep! I nearly dropped out of the purchase of my own property it was that nice! Looking forward to booking again in the not too distant future! Highly recommend - you won’t be disappointed!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

Just got back from a 2 night stay, it was lovely and peaceful and definitely relaxing 😌 While recovering from a broken ankle we needed to get away....was going stir crazy. Richard was such a lovely host, very helpful from my first enquiry with him. He was honest about the ground and steps up, he was great from the moment we met him. Honestly, it was awesome, we are definitely going back, when my ankle is heeled because the views and surrounding areas are beautiful and I can't wait to be able to walk them. The dogs also loved it....1 of them is very nervous and reactive, he was calm and loved it! Thanks Richard and family.... If you like peaceful, quiet, views, walks, hot tub and calming space....book it x
