Beachfront holiday rentals in Lancaster County

This was one of the cleanest, well thought out Airbnbs my Husband and I have ever stayed in! The host was quick to respond with any needs, the home was well stocked with essentials, and had notes with recommendations for the area. We loved drinking coffee on the dock and watching movies in the outdoor living area. The area is so quiet and peaceful.

We had an amazing stay at Ryan’s place for our Father’s Day weekend fishing trip! Ryuan was a fantastic host—very accommodating, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. 'A diamond in the ruff'. Our first AirBnB and we absolutely loved the cabin. Had everything we needed & very clean. We had wonderful weather, nice breeze off the water. Fish were biting. Very quiet . A great getaway cabin. Our hostess Lorena was great, checked on us to see if we needed anything. Well stocked kitchen. Thank You Lorena!

T’s place was absolute perfection! It was beautiful, tastefully decorated and the homemade muffins and cookies were amazing! She and John were so lovely and accommodating. Relaxing on the dock on the river was a sublime experience as well! I really can’t say enough about my time spent there and if I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be staying at T’s! Why would you stay anywhere else!?

Second time staying at one of the cottages and can’t wait to come back! The area is so peaceful and serene - great DC getaway. If you enjoy hearing just the bay waves crashing and birds, beautiful sunsets, and panoramic views even from inside look no further.

This is my second time staying at this cottage. The location is beautiful, the private beach is great for kids, and all the welcome gifts and fresh flowers are a friendly touch. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, and the two bedrooms made for a comfortable stay for my family of four. We enjoyed the Fisherman’s Museum in Reedsville and the local coffee, Fawn’s. Northern Neck is a lovely area and everyone we ran into the whole weekend was incredibly friendly.

We had a great time at Nicholas and Dana's place! It was both fun and relaxing. We really enjoyed the little beach, the dock and the kayaks. We caught some catfish and one tiny crab in the crab trap (and threw everything back in). It was nice to have the firepit and hot tub to use too. And, the kids really liked being downstairs in their own space. The only issues were that the key pad wasn't working to get in to the front door which was frustrating after a long drive and the grill was very slow to heat up and probably needs to be replaced. Overall, this home was a really good choice for us and we would stay again when visiting family in the area.

Stunning accommodations! The view was beautiful. The home was spotless. If it were not for the scheduled events I had to attend in the area, I would have relaxed in the condo for the entire stay!

My daughter found this gem online to book for my 65th birthday and a family get-together on the Northern Neck. We stay in Airbnb homes quite frequently all over the world and this is the loveliest home we've had the good fortune to stay in. Christine is the most gracious host and this home is special because she has made it that way for her family. It's a huge difference to stay in a vacation home that the host rents and a home that the host lives in. Christine's eye for beauty is exquisite and the home is comfortable as well as beautiful. It seldom happens that you say, "I wish the house had (fill in the blank)" and this house has it. The river is a gorgeous backdrop and there are kayaks to use. The saltwater pool is a great addition and a reason to hang at the house. And there is everything one needs to knock out a meal or if you don't want to cook, plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all, this house is a 15 out of 10!!

Wow.. where do I start? I have a strict heart healthy diet. Only whole grain products with no dairy, meat, nuts, and oil. Brenda communicated well before the start to make sure her special dinner and breakfast dishes met my requirements. Brenda did a magnificent job. Not were the meals outstanding, the setting for her air b&b is perfect. The Northern Neck is a special place in Virginia. Staying at Brenda’s “Perfect View” in the Northern Neck was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Joslyn was a FANTASTIC host, and her home was even more beautiful in person than in the pics. The house was clean, clutter free and had all the amenities. The water views were to die for! We stayed at the end of December, and would LOVE to come back during the summer. If you're looking for a beautiful home with plenty of charm, peace and tranquility, then look no further. THIS IS IT! Kelly's place was immaculate. Kelly went out of her way to help us with all of our things. We had a boat dock. Kelly had everything we needed from water to shore power. This home was amazing - Jack and Beth were wonderful - everything we needed was right there - game room was perfect for the kids - the house was tremendous and spotless and perfect and I can’t say enough great things about my experience. I would 110% recommend this home to anyone!! Book it!!!

We had so much at Anne and Neil’s place. It was more beautiful in person than in the photos. The furniture and antiques were so beautifully appointed. We had lots of fun as a family enjoying their pool, searching for shark teeth and shells on their beach, and getting on the water in their boats. Lots of fun. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Our kids had an absolute blast — they loved the space to play and felt right at home. One of the biggest highlights was the kayak — it was beyond everything we expected and made our trip extra special! Being out on the water was such a fun and peaceful experience. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the host was responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for families — we’d love to come back again!

We’ve stayed with Parke and Marjorie a few times and this location never disappoints. Peaceful and quiet getaway with plenty of amenities, even if we don’t take full advantage of them all. Amazing views and close to the water! We got to see the Swans and their babies a few times. So great to see. Look forward to the next time we’re able to visit the White Stone area!

Our multi-generational family loved our two weeks at Big Bay. The house is well-appointed and comfortable, and the beach, which you can see from the living room, dining room, and kitchen, is stunning. Water toys (paddle boards, floats, PFDs, chairs, etc.) are available in the garage under the house. There have been updates to the deck since the photos were taken - the side deck on the left of the house when you’re looking from the water is covered and screened with a table and the aforementioned outdoor kitchen. It’s a great place to enjoy the nice weather and catch the breeze without having to worry about the sun. Just in front of the screened-in area is a large, comfortable couch. Susan let us know before we arrived that a couple of the burners on the grill in the outdoor kitchen weren’t working & provided us a different grill from one of her other properties to use instead. We really appreciated that she was proactive and it was a great solution for our needs. We hope to return!

I’ve stayed at many vacation rentals, and this one is definitely one of the best! The location is unbeatable—convenient enough for quick errands, grocery runs, or a little shopping, but far enough to feel like a true getaway. The views from both inside and outside the house are absolutely stunning. The water is crystal clear and shallow, creating a peaceful and serene environment. While there’s no traditional beach, as the tide goes out, a bit of "beach" emerges, and it’s shallow enough to set up a chair right in the water. We did just that, and it was pure bliss! The house itself is beautifully decorated, cozy, and incredibly well-appointed. We cooked all weekend and found everything we needed to prepare meals with ease. Rebecca was also a pleasure to communicate with—responsive and thoughtful. We truly had a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return!

What a gorgeous island! I did not want to leave! Private and peaceful, perfect for a reset or decompression. I will certainly be returning.

Sailor’s Rest was a wonderful house for our family’s gathering. The house is spotless and nicely updated. The location is very private while also having access to Ingram Bay Marina, also owned by Mary and Billy. The house is nicely laid out with updated amenities including great wifi for multiple devices (whether you use them or not). We cooked and ate in most meals, but did go our for lunch twice, including Merrior (don’t miss!). We spent a lot of our time on the wonderful porch overlooking the inlet. Mary also made sure we had access to a canoe and kayaks for paddling around. We enjoyed a wonderful Sunset Cruise with Captain Billy. We highly recommend either a sunset cruise or fishing trip depending on your interest. Billy made sure we all enjoyed the scenery, learned a little bit, and got a spectacular sunset from the water! We have spent a lot of time on the Northern Neck and this was a great experience. We loved the privacy, the home feel, the cleanliness and the access to the marina. Book this one if available! You will be glad you did. We will come back!

Such a perfect end of summer trip as two families of four. We spent almost the entire time outside, using the standup paddle boards at our small private beach, which is less than half a mile from the house and really easy to get to. The kids had so much fun, feeding the pigs and visiting the cows. We brought the kids bikes as all of the little back Roads were really fun to navigate, the kids said they would love to go back! The hosts were excellent, delicious ciders for the adults right next-door and we got ground beef and steaks from them for both the nights We were there to grill out.

Crysta’s lovely waterfront home sits in a perfect quiet neighborhood in Fleeton just 10 minutes from the little town of Reedville as well as a local bakery and fish market. It has a brand new and well stocked kitchen and a large family overlooking the water that soothes your soul while reading or playing games. You can kayak or paddle board right from their backyard on a creek that leads you to a private beach and then to the bay in a few minutes. Priceless. Best of all you are a short 1/2 hour ride to the town of Kilmarnock with shopping and restaurants if you choose to leave this blissful solitude. You are also a short ride to discover many attractions that this area has to offer. We have stayed at many Airbnb’s and VRBO’s in the Northern Neck and Crysta’s home is by far the best. We will be back.😊
