Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Land O'Lakes

One of our most comfortable Airbnb stays of all time! The cabin had all of the comforts of home, along with a beautiful natural setting. Close to Minocqua, Woodruff, and Lake Tomahawk. We were even able to get a pizza delivery to the cabin. Thank you again to our wonderful hosts!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin on a peninsula into the river, surrounded on three sides by water! One of the most tranquil places we have stayed, with all the amenities you could need. The kayaks/canoes were lovely and Susan provided so many other little touches we never knew we needed! Another plus to the rustic cabin is the built-in easy-to-use sound system which made for great memories singing songs together while cooking dinner etc. Would highly recommend a stay here to anyone planning a visit to Eagle River or the Northwoods of Wisconsin!

Loved it! We were there for four days, and it was cozy! The doors are similar to barn doors and they slide, which we thought was cool. Everyone talks about the shower in the sauna—it’s not as confusing as they make it seem. The instructions in the listing are clear and simple. We came from my S/O’s house and so I had to run some laundry and Mackenzie was super helpful when I couldn’t figure it out. My only complaint is the floor in the sauna was mildly uncomfortable to stand on, but that can be easily avoided with shower shoes or flip flops :)

WE were in the area for work. Great place to stay with everything we needed to accommodate us for the week. Great communication from Nancy which made everything from check in to check out a breeze. Would stay again!!

Perfect for a family of four. We had everything that we needed and the home was very clean. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We will be back again when we are in town.

We could not have been happier with our decision to stay at Little Red! Sue is a phenomenal host; whether it was accommodating our unexpected early arrival or sharing the secret behind the fresh scent of her linens, Sue went above and beyond when it came to taking care of our needs. The property itself is also worthy of praise. Little Red is located on an accessible road, making it easy to come and go year round. This makes it easy to enjoy the local attractions, especially with Sue’s detailed recommendations left on-site. Summertime visitors will love the convenient access to the lake as well as the amenities Sue provides, such as fishing equipment and water toys to explore the lake. Winter visitors will also appreciate features like a wood stove and plenty of wood. It is not an easy task to make someone feel at home while on vacation, but Little Red truly felt like our home away from home during our stay, and we are already considering a return visit in the fall. Thank you Sue!

This was our second (annual) stay and we are already talking about returning again next year. We had such a great stay! The location is great for us - lots of great hikes and interesting places to visit within an easy drive. The amenities of the cabin are all first rate. We especially enjoyed the full kitchen and grill and enjoyed fabulous home-cooked meals every evening. The view of the river from the cabin is so beautiful. We enjoyed seeing how it changed from moment to moment and day to day. At times there was mist rising from the water, at other times, the water sparkled brightly. Truly beautiful. We have been so looking forward to this year's week at the cabin - and it did not disappoint. I most highly recommend it to you!

Ewelina’s place was the perfect setting for a quick weekend in nature. Ewelina was incredibly responsive and helpful. This cozy apartment was spotless upon arrival, comfortable, and was stocked with more than I could ever need. The attention to detail was evident; I cannot recommend this place enough.

Great place and our family had a really good time. Great location to be able to ski in and out and the wood stove was a nice touch. The house was hard to find in the dark when we first arrived and price seemed a little steep for what it was. Overall nice place and we would recommend.

This is a perfect place if you are skiing at the Snowriver Mountain hills. The place is a little dated and the walls are a little thin, but we didn't want to spend our days in the condo so it didn't bother us. Peter is very polite and responsive.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

We so enjoyed our stay! It was homey, comfortable, and warm. Our host was very helpful with local recommendations and was able to offer a flexible checkout time, which was a welcome touch. Big Powderhorn was an easy 10 minute walk away!

The home was decorated nicely, plenty of kitchen pots, pans, and utensils to make a couple of nice meals. Very clean. Beds were comfortable! Plenty of towels and wash clothes. The bottled water in the fridge was very nice. Appreciated the flexibility of a little later check out. Would definitely stay again.

Kassi was a fabulous host and readily provided useful information and helpful tips about the area. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. It was a great place to stay and we're already planning a trip to come back in the winter and experience the ski resort around the corner!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cove. It was as advertised and Hiller Home’s, especially Lily was very communicative and responsive. We documented a few items regarding damage/non-functioning items and Hiller replies accordingly. The only suggestion I would have is to update their Airbnb page to reflect that they do indeed include towels. The page said to bring bath and kitchen towels. All in all, a great place that I would definitely recommend.

The AIRBNB we had booked for a ski weekend cancelled our reservation 4 hours before check in after driving from Chicago through nonstop snowstorms over 2 days due to a "double booking" . We located this property because it was a busy weekend and not much else was available with the assistance of AIRBNB support. So happy we were able to stay here! Location was perfect as we were skiing at Big Powderhorn (1 min away) and Snowriver (15 min away). The villa was clean and exactly as described. The kids had a great time in the hot tub after a long day on the hills and the adults had a great time warming up next to the fireplace with a cocktail. Slept 3 adults and 4 kids comfortably and we did not feel crowded at all. Kitchen and all amenities were perfect for our needs. Will definitely look up this listing again next year when we return for our annual trip to the UP.

The water falls and hiking areas are conveniently near by, the view is amazing. If your looking for an amazing weekend i suggest taking the trip and rejuvenate your family life and your love in each other because it really help my family and I.

The place was spotless. The fire was cozy, the hot tub was hot, and was perfect for our ski weekend minus the sub zero temps.

We absolutely loved our stay! The connivence of the ski in and ski out was amazing. The rooms were a good size. Pillows comfy. We had three children with us that loved the bunk bed bedroom. The hot tub was clean and a perfect way to end the night after skiing. There is a puzzle and an arcade machine available for family fun. We would have loved to see a deck of cards or board game; but generally speaking those are items that can be brought from home. Overall, the cabin was perfect..

We originally booked a different place, but when the host found out we’d be skiing at Big Powderhorn, they kindly offered to switch us to this unit. It was such a pleasant surprise and far exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely be coming back next season.

north vacation rentals was super easy to work with. communicated very clearly and quick to respond. the hot tub was great, but was shared with the unit next to us (no one booked that one during my stay so we had it to ourselves)
