Cottage holiday rentals in Laurel Highlands

We had a wonderful time at Deep Retreat. Very nice fenced yard with the fire pit where we spent a lot of time. The house is very cozy. Nice walkable peaceful neighborhood.

The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our family mountain getaway. We loved the Mountain View, hot tub and surrounding scenery. WiFi worked perfectly well. It had basically everything we needed. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the river because it flooded prior to the stay but that would have been icing on the cake. Would highly recommend this rental for a scenic outdoor WV getaway!

We stay in many rental houses on our travels. This one was extra special! Loved everything about this house. We enjoyed the hot tub, listening to the birds and exploring the area. Having the office there was such a great bonus. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had a great stay. The house is close to the ski mountains and communication with Andrew was smooth. Would recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Triple Creek Cottage! The home was beautifully decorated and cozy! The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for family dinners! After a fun day of hiking it was nice to soak in the hot tub. We loved relaxing by the spacious outdoor fireplace with ample seating as well. We had plenty of room for all the adults and grandkids as well. The coffee station was such a nice touch, so many extras in the house that made the house a "home"! We highly recommend and look forward to our next stay!

This was our family's second time staying here and we intend to do so again next year if she'll have us again! look I am very tempted to NOT write a review because this is a bit of a hidden gem, but the host was excellent and deserves the visibility, even if it means it's harder for us in the future! location is great for hitting up Wisp and far enough away it still feels like a private retreat. really great host who has welcomed us into her cabin twice now! Washer and dryer were clutch w this trip with rain the first day! but we were able to dry out our gear and hit the slops and second day without issue!!!

The turning leaf lodge was a great place! It had a nice outdoor space for our family. Has enough room inside and out. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

Hidden gem! Private, peaceful, quiet and I loved the view from the deck! A bunch of restaurants within 5-7 minutes driving distance in Ellwood City. Doug was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We lost power, but Doug tracked down the power company & had answers within 5 minutes (tree fell on power wires down the road). We were put at ease knowing it wouldn't be out for long. He left fresh eggs in the fridge from his daughter's farm which was very cool. We were also thankful our dogs could stay with us. We would definitely stay here again when we're in town visiting family, and hope to enjoy the river next time around (kayaks!). Thank you!

Lovely cottage! Perfect place for a busy mom to relax and recharge after the holidays. I am keeping this one on my favorites list for next time I need a get away, would love to come back. I felt well taken care of--like I was in a friend's home. Sitting on the couch with a cup of tea and reading a book was great, especially after a morning at the spa. Aaaaahhhh.

We had an amazing trip staying here! The pond was so nice to look out at - and the wood stove was so cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at Bill's place! He generously offered us a free upgrade from our original booking and cooked us a wonderful 5 course dinner on the house. He even gave us a bottle of wine to take back with us and gave us eggs from his chickens when we checked out. The property is beautiful and has lots to explore, including a tree house, hedge maze, and a trail through the woods. It was perfect for our dog to explore with us. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks again for everything Bill!

Beautifully private, overlooking the river. Listening to the many different treefrogs at night and seeing the thousands of lightning bugs was the height of relaxing evenings. The house had everything you need, plus. Super comfortable beds. Rachelle was readily available and quickly answered our questions. Was an absolute pleasure to stay for the week and would definitely return for another relaxing stay!

We needed a place to stay in the Somerset area for my son's wedding. This house fit the bill with the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed for everyone in our family. The house was great. Judy and Linda were great with communications and instructions. The house itself was very clean and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. We felt right at home and the house was nicely stocked with all the things we needed. We would highly suggest this as a place to stay for anyone visiting the area for either a family event or just enjoying the laurel highlands. Thanks for hosting us.

Peaceful, serene and beautiful place in the woods. Loved the cottage and surroundings. Very clean and well equipped.

The place was great! Ample space for a guys weekend getaway. Loved having the grill and fire pit available. There was propane for the grill but we did bring firewood. The place was clean and well kept. Very close to Wisp resort so lots of activities. The host was also very responsive to my questions.

The cottage was perfect! Attention to detail with the amenities, decor and comfort were top notch! Communication was not only responsive but proactive...this will be my go to place in Morgantown!

Location was perfect for what we needed. Very walkable to restaurants and my sister’s house. We enjoyed the large front porch drinking our for morning coffee and evening wine. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and used the sitting room at the bottom of the stairs as my “dressing room “. It worked out perfectly. Chaz provided everything you can think of in the kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable place.

Beautiful home and stay! We stayed at Jan’s home for a wedding and loved it! The farm is quiet and peaceful and we saw so many beautiful birds on the property, too. Jan is communicative and swiftly answered all my questions. The home itself is spacious and clean and looks just like the house photos. I will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town!

I’ve stayed in the Brookie three times for fishing trips and loved every minute of it. The cabin has all of the basic creature comforts but retains a rustic feel that is perfectly suited for the surrounding environment. The location is a perfect jumping-off point for all of the wonderful fishing spots in the area, and the owner has great knowledge of the local streams. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for our family of 6 for our kids’ Spring break. Close proximity to everything we needed (hiking, lake, Wisp Resort, shopping). Aldon and Morgan were incredibly helpful and responsive.

The place was very lovely and we had a great time staying there. Very close to Ligonier and all the attractions of the area. Definitely will stay there again.
