The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with deluxe bedding and hotel quality mattress and mattress pad. The living room features a dining area/work space, corner sofa (sofabed) and TV. Books and travel guides in English and French are available. The space is very cozy and welcoming, with a lot of natural light and decorative additions from our own many travels. You will find everything you need in the fully-fitted kitchen, which is equipped with new stainless steel appliances; dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. However, with so many great restaurants, bars and cafes on your doorstep, you may find that you prefer to let somebody else do the hard work! Saucisse de Toulouse, (a type of sausage), Cassoulet (a bean and pork stew), and foie gras, a delicacy mainly made in the Midi-Pyrénées are all options! Washer and dryer are in the apartment. This chic apartment is only steps away from Les Allées Jean Jaurès in downtown Toulouse, with many nearby restaurants and cafes. The train and metro stations are a short walk away, while a VélôToulouse station is located at the end of the street. The apartment is located within minutes walking distance from both the train station Toulouse Matabiau and the Jean Jaurès metro station (conveniently the only station for lines A and B). A bus stop for the airport shuttle is also within minutes walk from the apartment.

Albi is 40 minutes away (Unesco World Heritage Cathedral) 1 hour from the city of Carcassonne, Revel and its market and the St Férréol basin.

(5 min), like Puycelci, Bruniquel Penne, Vaour... 10 km from Gaillac (10 min) 30 km from Albi. (30 min) Exceptional site, ideal for hikers and walkers, close to the Grésigne Forest and the Sivens Forest.

The Castrum

The 3-star gîte (CDT 31) is housed in an old 13th century house that overlooks the vast village square and is part of the old medieval castrum (fortified square) whose thickness of certain walls and the embrasures recall the ancient origins of the place. The village is part of the Cocagne region within the "blue gold triangle" connecting Albi, Toulouse and Carcassonne, a region steeped in history related to the culture and flourishing trade of pastel in the 14th century.

Private room with full autonomy

The ROOM (without kitchen) is completely self-contained, private toilet and bathroom, access through a private entrance to the accommodation. It is located in a part of our house and can ideally accommodate 2 people (up to 3 if necessary, extra charge of €10/night). In the event that the 2nd bed (armchair convertible into single extra bed) is necessary, even for 2 guests, an additional €10 will be charged upon arrival. The room is to be left clean (or €10 cleaning fee)

The Au fil de l'eau gîte in Bruniquel, cozy & intimate

Charming house located by the water near the medieval village of Bruniquel. You will enjoy its large garden without overlooking neighbors, the shade of its oaks, and the local fauna (birds, squirrels...). The quiet of nature will rejuvenate you. Its park, its private beach with direct access to the river offer many activities: swimming (gradual water level), fishing, canoe ride (at your disposal). The hiking trails in the immediate vicinity will offer you nice walks.

Bed sheets, bath towels, and exit cleaning are included in the price. Remote work will be possible thanks to the internet connection and the office area. Close to the shops of the city center, possibility of free parking in the neighborhood Shared pool (adults, older children)
