About 30 minutes from Chicoutimi, you can take the opportunity to visit the tourist attractions of Saguenay–Le lac Saint-Jean. In any season, at the Rondin des Monts-Valin, you won't be bored!

Refuge in the forest / La Bécassine

La Bécassine is a small wooden mini-house. Heated by a wood-burning stove, equipped for a stay in the forest. Running water (summer), drinking water container (winter), no electricity, lantern and candle light, butane stove for cooking, basic dishes and saucepan, bedding, double bed in the mezzanine, dry toilet outside. La Bécassine is a 5-7 minute walk to the parking lot. Beautiful brightness, nice view surrounded by trees. Quiet and stargazing.

The setting of the cabin is serene and free from every day distractions with amazing views of nature in all directions. Guests also have access to the whole land which include a waterfall and numerous hiking trails connecting directly to the national park.

Located just 13 minutes from Valinouet and 15 minutes from Chicoutimi, access to the mountain bike and snowmobile trails is easy.

The Chalet chez Dom, located in a quiet area, offers a magnificent view of the Petit-Saguenay River. Skiers will be delighted because the chalet is located near the Mont-Édouard ski resort and near the Les Sommets du Fjord ski area. Snowshoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, whale watching, fishing 🎣are some of the many activities to do. The cottage has a campfire area, BBQ and bread oven, large garage with ping pong table, etc.
