We enjoyed an all-round perfect stay at Paula's house. I can't think of a single point of criticism. Particularly noteworthy are the extremely warm communication with the hostess, the loving furnishings and the 100% cleanliness. Thanks very much and hopefully goodbye!

It was very pleasant, very attentive and good comfort. Close to restaurants, shopping centers and the beach. The accommodation was spectacular, we went with our dog and he was also comfortable.

We loved staying here. It had a brilliant view of Porto and we were able to walk there easily (on either the high or low bridge) as well as around the local area and to the river and restaurants and Port cellars there. The apartment is spacious and really well appointed with a very comfortable sofa and a throw to keep you warm. The main bed was super comfortable- a rare find. The apartment was nestled right in the Roman arches with a road above us and one below. Being a lighter sleeper I closed the back windows and used the fan for air movement and to block out road noises. This compromise was worth it for the view!! Diana was a great host, responding quickly to questions and providing weather forecasts. We highly recommend Porto and this apartment

Gorgeous, creative flat! Very lively at Christmas…they play Christmas music well into the night on the pedestrian street below, and the New Year’s Eve party is a blast—literally—with fireworks. The high ceilings make it hard to heat in the winter, which was fine for this Buffalo, NY native. It’s probably the most beautiful in the spring and fall, so I’ll be back then!

Excellent stay on a very good location. The apartment was spotless and equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Rui was extremely attentive, received us on arrival, gave us instructions and tips about the area and helped us with questions at any time during the stay. We definitely recommend this place.

We had a pleasant stay in the dune house, the bedding is perfect, and the apartment very clean. The terrace is very nice, facing the ocean with a magnificent sunset view. There is a nice walk along the beach, restaurants and bars within walking distance. The kitchen is fine, there is an oven and even a dishwasher. It's just missing a few kitchen accessories like a salad dryer, there's only one bowl for example, it lacks a few amenities for people who really want to cook. And the only downside is the noise from the road, cars and motorcycles pass very quickly at night, it's less disturbing the closed window but it was hot, and we were sleeping with the window open. We are delighted with our stay and the house is as described.

Fernando was a great host and his flat is in an excellent location. The beach and everything Matosinhos has to offer is on your doorstep. We had a bit of difficulty getting to Porto due to problems at the airport but Fernando was really accommodating, and we managed to check in as soon as we arrived, despite being hours later than planned. Thanks Fernando, we all had a great time!

Great stay, good location and as described. Amazing support after our stay. We forgot a tablet in the appartment and they were amazing helping us out to have it ship to our home. Very efficient and supportive.

The accommodation was very spacious and there was ample space to unfold. The ambience is rather functional and not particularly homely but we lacked nothing. You are privately accommodated there, but also anonymous. You won't be making contacts there. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine washes well. The wifi router is located in the property and the internet is fast. I particularly liked the large sliding wall with which you can protect the living area from the sun. The proximity to the beach is unbeatable, with the gastronomy in the area offering little change. Shopping facilities are a 15-20 min walk. After all, you have a vacation and plenty of time. We felt comfortable and the place was absolutely worth its money. Thank you

The quiet area with dunes and sea views, a great bed and a great shower, were fundamental elements of our experience in this apartment. The most unpleasant thing was the communication with those responsible for the accommodation: all the people I exchanged messages with were kind and diligent to respond but the fact that they referred us to a website asking for more data and more procedures (in addition to those provided here on Airbnb) made me angry and frustrated. In this process of exchanging messages I had to do what I consider a disproportionate effort for a simple booking. For the sake of the next guests, I hope you can improve on the simplification of the process! I appreciate the flexibility and kindness you had at check-in and check-out!

A beautiful Villa with a nice pool and barbecue outside we all love it we are definitely coming back again. Highly recommended.

Anabela’s house is stunning with beautiful gardens. The interior is large with plenty of space and areas to sit and relax. Everything has been thought of making our stay amazing from beginning to end. We were sad to leave! It is so peaceful and quiet. The bonus was the close proximity to the lovely beach, walkable within 5 minutes. One of the best beaches you could find.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The property was spacious with 2sets of balconies for either sun or shade all day.We loved the fact that they met us and provided a lovely welcome pack and told us about lots of great places to visit locally and in Porto itself and would recommend to others

Very nicely furnished. Beautiful flower garden in patio area. Kitchen contained all necessary items.

A wonderful stay! The place is about half an hour from Porto, easy drive. As expected right on the beach with a view that we can never get tired of. Smooth check in and the place was super clean and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and there are shutters to block the light if you like to sleep in. Noise from board walk doesn't get to the bed rooms. Kitchen was great so easy breakfasts, coffee and reheating food. Great access to beach toys and umbrellas for beach days. The host was very accommodating and responsive which we hugely appreciated. There are lots of lovely restaurants around and we spent a couple days in the city, some in the hills and some enjoying the coast. It's a perfect mix of city break with the beach air. Thank you for an amazing stay, highly recommended.

Rui was very responsive and helpful from the moment we checked in. He even got us a wonderful dinner reservation in Porto. The place was perfect for our family and the location was just what we wanted: tastefully decorated, close to the beach and close to Porto. Would highly recommend staying at Rui’s spot!

Beautiful apartment in a delightful area. The views from the sleeping loft were stupendous. The area is safe and quiet, with restaurants nearby and cute streets to explore, plus river and ocean. Ariana's recommendations were excellent and she was so responsive as a host. She usually answered me within 10 minutes! She is warm and friendly, helping to make my stay in Porto memorable. I was able to cook some meals on the well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend.

Perfect location if you want to take in the views of Porto’s historic center . The space was well equipped and comfortable for our family of 4. Would stay here again.

Paula's accommodation is perfectly located facing the sea and about 20 minutes from Porto by train (station 100m away) or by car. We enjoyed being lulled by the sound of the waves. Bright accommodation, perfectly arranged and equipped. Small treats awaited us on arrival :) Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you again!

The apartment can certainly be called luxurious. Given the hustle and bustle on the street, it is great that there is a parking lot under the building. And also very nice: there are bicycles that can be used. So, cycling along the Douro to Porto Center; fantastic! Anything you need (and more) was present. Actually, there was nothing to complain about. So again Kurt and An: THANK YOU for the hospitality and the good care.
