Cottage holiday rentals in Leicester

Me and my girlfriend had such an amazing time at this place. We’ve had something similar in the past but this one takes the cake. Very private and has an amazing view. Close to the road so sometimes you’ll hear people walking past and cars. But at night you can sit in the hot tub and enjoy looking at the stars. In our case we saw a shooting star while sat in the hot tub. I would 100% suggest this to friends and come again.!!!! Thank you

This place has a part of my heart. This is my second time visiting and I would go again! - it’s private - has a great sound system - it’s cosy - has amazing views - such comfy beds - has everything you need - it’s clean Rodalyn and Ali are amazing, they are so hospitable and they make the place even better. They made sure that they fitted me in and enabled me to have the best engagement gathering ever! I will never forget that weekend🎉❤️

Check in was really simple and directions to find the place were spot on. Communication was excellent and we felt that we could contact the owners if we needed to. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider stopping again if visiting the area in the future. The house smelt freshly cleaned when we arrived and was in a peaceful location. It was great to have a small selection of toiletries as well as coffee/tea provided - thank you. Bed linen and towels were clean and smelt lovely.

Cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with my daughter, was beautiful, homely, just so stunning surroundings. Information book had useful information of cottage and things to do in surrounding areas! Perfect location for our wellbeing day at the wellbeing barn, Belvoir castle & retail village easily reachable, not to mention amazing birthday evening meal at The Tap & Run. Looking fwd to returning soon.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was a lovely touch and felt very private. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a great stay at Brittany & Mel’s place! Everything was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The house itself was so cool and our toddlers loved the rocking horse. Fabulous hot tub. Beautiful surroundings with a short walk up the path to see some animals. Great stay, would recommend!

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Steve & Hanri have been the perfect hosts. A beautiful house set in a stunning location that's so quiet. The property had everything we needed and we did all our washing before coming home. There lots of little nooks to read a book. 'What Lies beneath' is a good read! On arrival we were left beautiful treats from the bakery, along with a bottle of wine and treats for our minature dachshund. The garden was a delight with a table and chairs for all the family. The yellow seated area near the rose is a real treat to enjoy a glass of wine or coffee on your own. All the recommendations are on a handmade map and we visted quite a few and we're very satisfied. The local pub 'The Sun Inn' offers the most outstanding food and service. The chip shop around the corner also satisfied our taste buds. Both our children enjoyed the recreation ground court where they played football and basket ball. The surrounding houses are just stunning. A 5* location and 5* hosts. We will be returning again.

The cottage is a great place for two. It is on a quiet no through lane with safe parking. The kitchen is well equipped for both longer and short stays with a cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine and a good assortment of cooking pots and utensils. The bedroom is a reasonable size with plenty of storage. The bed is comfortable and the linen is of a good quality. The bathroom is small but has a good shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. Note: The stairs are exactly what is expected in a 200yr old cottage.... There is a small front garden with a table and chairs. Good to enjoy a meal if the weather permits. The local Cafe is great for breakfast or a light lunch. It is advisable to book, especially on weekends, as it is both popular and small Highly recommended accommodation in a quintessentially English village.

Peaceful Surroundings..This is our second visit to Deb and Mark's place .It's like a place from home from home .

Beautiful house in gorgeous village surroundings. Dale and Helen’s place was impeccable and the whole experience was sublime. Communication was superb and no attention to detail was spared. Generous provisions were provided and one felt totally at home. There are not enough superlatives and would totally recommend and go back.

We had an amazing stay here. The location is quiet, with incredible hill views from the bedroom window. Not too far from Derby centre either. Would definitely stay again!!

Jasmine Cottage was a wonderful cosy cottage, with everything we needed for a great short break. Located on the High Street, it was easily accessible and convenient for pubs, restaurants & convenience stores. The welcome pack was very welcome, after a long journey it was great to be able to enjoy a cup of tea! Jan was responsive & friendly with any questions I had before arrival. We always managed to park on the high street and Jan organised a permit for us quickly & easily. We also found convenient, fast & reasonably priced EV charging at The Bulls Head in Wootton Warren, just 4 minutes down the road (there are EV chargers on the high street but places were scarce). We had a great stay in a beautiful cottage in a wonderful part of our country. Thank you Jan.

The Palour and its surroundings were so lovely, peaceful and exceeded our expectations. We need to come back to do more walking in the area.

We both so enjoyed Emma's beautiful barn. We simply wanted to enjoy this lovely space and cooked a meal there . Everything was handy and everything practical had been thought of. A magical barn with stunning decor throughout . We would both unequivocally recommend this property to friends . A smashing crash pad near to Stratford. I particularly enjoyed walking into Stratford along the footpath from Cobb's Farm Shop a 3 minute drive up the road once my partner had gone to work . Beautiful . Unfortunately I was unable personally to stay at Rita's accommodation because of a sudden medical problem, but she was more than accommodating in letting me bless some friends at the last minute with a few days vacation. They really enjoyed their stay and said the welcome was amazing. So once again thank you to the host for her understanding.

A lovely peaceful quiet place to stay. The property was well stocked with everything that we needed. Convenient for our planned visit to Armourgeddon. We would definitely like to stay here again.

What a beautiful little cottage. Everything was very clean and tidy. I loved how peaceful it was, waking up to bird song and nothing else was amazing. The garden was also a great place to relax

My husband and I had a wonder stay at Elizabeth's. The accomodation was exceptionally well equiped with thoughtful inclusions. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was very peaceful being away from traffic and people, a perfect place to relax. Elizabeth was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and we stay again when next visiting family in the area.

This was the first part of a 2-part stay at Rachel’s lovely home in Quorn, but we are just having a wonderful time. The hope is perfect equipped and comfortable for us as a family of 4, while also being extremely conveniently located to a playground for my youngest, and a large park for my eldest. The running trails abound, the local market is right down the street, and we have had loads of fun getting to know all the locals and patronizing all the shops. It has been a wonderful stay, and a choice we would make again and again!

I had a lovely stay at the cottage with my 2 dogs. Rebecca and John were helpful and responsive, the home was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. Parking isn't ideal but is manageable, though no guaranteed parking in immediate walking distance to the cottage except on Sundays. Close to everything you need in the city but with some lovely open spaces too. Would definitely visit again if I need to return to Leicester.

John and Hazel shared their wonderful cottage that was in a secluded part of Tutbury with fields behind the lovely cottage garden, visited by birds and squirrels. The woodlands and river were close by for easy access to walking trails and also local amenities. We had a wonderful 5 day stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and comfortable. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed - from a well- stocked kitchen to cozy balnkets and other thoughtful touches throughout. Our host was responsive, kind and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommended. We will return.
