The Cabin

KarlRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The cabin was stunning, in a nice quiet village, perfect for getting away from busy life. The accommodation was spotless and Janet the host was so attentive, helping out with all our needs. There was a lovely garden area which was very scenic with a little fish pond to keep you company. All the amenities were to a very high standard and I had no issues at all! The location is also great for walks and some lovely pubs nearby Janet gave some fantastic suggestions to make the most of the area and had a little guide inside for the area which was handmade and highly appreciated!

We had a wonderful two nights in the milking parlour. Poppy could not be more welcoming and the setting was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. It's was perfect for exploring Somerset. We discovered some lovely eateries close by, Castle Cary market, Hauser & Wirth gallery, and enjoyed some walks. We will definitely be back. Thank you Poppy & Will.

Little Stock - Gillingham, North Dorset

LucyRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I enjoyed my short stay, it felt very safe and private which was perfect for some R&R. There was some light noise of passing cars and bikes heard from the bedroom, which is unavoidable given the location, but this did not dampen my stay or sleep - it didn't deter the local tawny owl either! Parking was very easy which was great, and instructions provided for finding the location were very helpful and much appreciated. Very comfortable furniture, good shower, nice to have a full kitchen and TV with apps for Netflix, Disney+, etc. Just what I needed.

The Stud House on private estate near Bruton

JessicaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fantastic for families We are a group of three families with children from 2 to 8 years old. This place was perfect for us. Well located, peaceful countryside feel, not overlooked, very private, we didn't see anyone else from the house. But also just a few minutes from supermarkets. easy to find, big driveway pillars on the lane. enclosed safe garden for our dogs, bowls, beds, poo bags for them beautiful horses in the adjacent field. huge trampoline and play area which the kids loved hot tub also enjoyed by the children we didn't have great weather but if you do then there is seating outside and a hammock, bbq etc the tv is huge and very slick three king en suites for the grown ups was also great one of the best parts was the toys, so many toys the children were never bored. a massive box of lego kept the eldest entertained. there is everything you might need, even down to baby sleeping bags with the cot! we all agreed this place was perfect for our needs and we will definitely return

The Cowstall at Hookgate Farm, a luxurious retreat

LyndaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful conversion of outbuildings, and decorated to a very high standard. The bed was extremely comfortable . The Cowstall had everything we needed for the week. The photos didn't do it justice; it was larger and more spacious than we thought. Everything was very clean and well equipped. The location near to Bruton was great. It was quiet, private and set in lovely countryside. Just be aware, flies can be a problem in the summer, due to being surrounded by farms. Robin and Juliet were amazing hosts; they made us feel very welcome, and when we had a problem with the toaster, Juliet immediately replaced it with a different one. They live on site, and responded straight away, so that was a big plus. All in all a wonderful stay.

Luxury Cottage in magical setting - Stourhead

LauraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We met here as a group of 6 adults and 3 children. The space was excellent - catering for all ages. The kids had their own play room, and Anna has a range of toys, puzzles and books. The main kitchen/dining area was a great social space. The lounge was comfy and we used it in the evenings. The weather was gorgeous so we sat outside in the afternoon/evening sun while the kids had plenty of space to run around. There was plenty to go and explore during the days. I would definitely recommend and go again.
