Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lemon Grove

Steve is an absolute pleasure! He's super-friendly and very interested in making sure your stay is perfect. He made sure to meet me in-person and say goodbye when packing up to leave. As the description clearly states, Steve lives in an apartment above the garage - BUT you would never know he's there if you didn't actually meet him. Steve gave us several great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. This was greatly appreciated. The home is in a safe, quiet area with very low traffic. All amenities are provided. Checking in and out is a breeze. He literally asks nothing of you except respecting his home. If we make it back to San Diego, this is will be our home for that time.

This place literally felt like paradise. If you didn’t know you were in San Diego, you would feel like you’re in Hawaii! The backyard was so beautiful that we spent the majority of our time out there in the pool, hot tub, and tiki bar! The upstairs patio was fantastic for outdoor eating. The hosts were super communicative with any questions we had prior to and during our visit! We definitely can’t wait to stay again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Jack and Taylor’s! The space was clean and incredibly comfortable, and the overall ambiance of the home was cozy and relaxing. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind.

The place was great. I only needed to contact Lauri once. the TV remote batteries died and she had replacement one for me right away. Somewhere to hang clothes would be nice but I understand with the space it is hard to do. Would for sure recommend staying here. The neighborhood is even nice for a run or an evening walk. And very quiet. 10 out 10 for my stay!

This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. The cottage is elegantly but comfortable decorated, linens high quality, kitchen well equipped, bathroom well designed with plenty of counter space for a small room. A heated toilet seat and bidet were appreciated! The entire property is beautifully landscaped and the little garden in back is serene. The overall design and layout are like something out of Architectural Digest. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.

Absolutely incredible stay! I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully prepared. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—fresh towels, cozy bedding, and even some local recommendations that ended up being trip highlights. The location was perfect—close to everything, but still peaceful and private. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, and this was easily one of the best. Highly recommend and would 100% stay again!

Kim’s place hit every mark on my checklist: safe, private, and amazing location. I went to San Diego to check out good nature spots (Balboa Park, beaches) food (vegan options only) and shopping. Every food option was less than 15 minutes away and every beach/shop was under 20 so that was really great. The Airbnb itself was very clean and hidden away which really helped us feel safe. It was slightly tricky to find but the instructions guided us there without issue. As stated, the garage is very small but our Corolla fit in there just right and having the spot was super convenient. There was a lovely spacious tub, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. When one small issue arose with the keypad to enter the Airbnb, Kim was immediately responsive and everything was resolved instantly. I would stay here again without a doubt and very much recommend it to anyone with a similar checklist.

We had everything we needed. We appreciated having the kitchenette. Parking was easy. The space was just right for two of us and we were able to relax each day after sightseeing. I enjoyed reading one of the books Anna had stocked in the room. Anna was easy to get a hold of and gave us recs for sites and restaurants.

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

Amazing place, it’s a great place for a couple. Restaurants are at a walking distance. Lauren was really helpful throughout the whole stay with any questions we had. Will definitely book again when we visit in the future.

Perfect place to stay. The apartment was beautiful, the queen size bed was very comfortable. I needed some help opening the couch bed and Danny took care of it as soon as I asked. Everything looked clean and smelled clean too. We had plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. The kitchen was totally stocked with everything needed to cook a meal or eat carryout. There was cold water in the fridge waiting for us. An unexpected delight were the fresh flowers on the kitchen table, bedroom, and by the bathroom sink. We only had one inconvenience, the push button lock wouldn't lock. Rosina & Danny gave us a key to come & go with. The landscaping was meticulously kept up. Lush cactus, passion flower, & different succulents made the garden gorgeous. This made us feel like it was our own little piece of paradise. Rosina and Danny were SUPER hosts. I can not say enough good things about them!

Perfect base to attend conference, trolley stop just down the road which was only a few stops away from gaslight area and conference center. Bed was really comfortable, and whilst there was occasional street noise I found it quiet at night and slept really well. Rachel has decorated the apartment beautifully and having a kitchen is fabulous. The rooftop terrace is great to chill out and the washing line was really handy to hang out handwashed clothes, if you are lucky you might get a visit from the friendly cats next door. Rachel was really responsive to questions, great restaurants near, and a few small grocery stores.

Julian’s place was wonderfully serene and tastefully decorated. We appreciated the quiet and efficient AC in the master bedroom as well as the soft sheets.

Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back

Great place. I recommend if you need a quiet and comfy place to stay. If you have a car, they have a parking spot if needed :)

The host replied quickly and provided flexible check in. The air bnb sat behind another home which gave us more privacy. If you are using navigation watch for incorrect directions. The area was quiet and calm. We brought our 2 dogs and the neighbors had dogs so there was some barking but they became friends through the fence. The furniture in the house was very comfortable and clean. Plenty of towels, blankets, and sheets. The kitchen was stocked with several spices, utensils and dishes. There is a shopping center close with a frys, aldi, in n out, petsmart, car wash etc was very convenient.

The beds were comfortable and the accommodations were clean. We had everything we needed. The location was within walking distance of great restaurants and coffee houses. I would choose to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. It was lovely and clean and perfect for a staycation. Only thing was the TV apps for streaming didn’t work and had to watch regular tv but everything else was fine. Definitely recommend!

Mycket fint och mysigt boende för mig och min man .Läget var kanon bra . Gångavstånd till stranden och gatan med många restauranger. Mycket bekvämt när det gäller parkering eftersom p-garage precis under boendet och hiss att åka upp till våningen . Värden var trevligt och alltid med snabb återkoppling. Tack Francisco

We had an amazing stay at Nicklas’s place in San Diego! The condo is beautifully renovated and right on the waterfront—waking up to those ocean views was such a treat. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we needed, making our stay super comfortable and convenient. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again in the future. Highly recommend!
