There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross-country ski trail just behind the cabin, and you can take on alpine skiing just outside the cabin door and run to the alpine resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

For those with skis, there is access to a ski shed with “skiwise” to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around the house and it is easy to walk down to Lom city center.
