If you want a peaceful breakaway with simple and comfortable accomodation and extremely friendly and welcoming hosts then this is for you! Driving distance to St Emillion and a beautiful lake for swimming (great for kids) , but also just lovely to wonder around their property and say hi to their chickens and horses. The gite was spotless and the bedding very comfortable. highly recommend!

Very friendly and spacious accommodation, quiet and peaceful place

We had a fantastic stay! The place was super clean and very well equipped — nothing was missing, from the air conditioning to the fully stocked kitchen. The rooms were super comfortable, and the terrace was ideal for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine. The house is also fully accessible, which we really appreciated. Nathalie and Yann were amazing hosts — kind, respectful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. We felt at home from the very beginning. The location is perfect, just a stone’s throw from Saint-Émilion, and the surroundings are simply beautiful. Truly one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We would absolutely love to come back and highly recommend it!

This was our second visit to the Gîte Les Longères and we have had another great stay here in Montazeau. The gite is well equipped and beautifully clean; we had everything we needed for a restful break away. The property is situated on a quiet road in woodlands and provides a calm and peaceful environment, which is just what we were hoping for. It's an ideal spot from which to explore this area. Being able to enjoy our lunch on the terrace several times in the warmth of the sun in January was an added bonus! Victoria and Nicolas are friendly and responsive hosts. Any queries we had were answered quickly and helpfully. I would highly recommend this property.
