Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Les Vans

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Martine est superbe hôtesse incroyable, accueillant et très sympa! P’tit moulin fait avec plein d’amour, du goût et cachet, produits offrirs fait maison, très bien équipée, guides du régions et leur histoires, et propre! Tout à été parfait - merci beaucoup.

Nous venons de passer 15 jours et le beau temps était au rendez-vous, pour celles et ceux qui recherchent le calme et la quiétude c'est le lieu idéal ! Christine et Philippe sont accueillants, chaleureux, disponibles et soucieux du bien-être de leurs hôtes. Ils ont été de bons conseils pour les sites à visiter, à la fois dans le Gard et dans l'Ardèche qui est à peine à 10 km Nombreux lieux à visiter notamment le pont du Gard, le Pont d'Arc et les gorges de l'Ardèche en canoé, la grotte de l'Aven Orgnac, les cascades du Sautadet, les arènes de Nîmes ....) La maison est bien équipée et les commerces de proximité se trouvent à Barjac à 3km Nous avons passé un excellent séjour !

Merveilleux si vous chercher un bain de nature ,du calme, c est l endroit idéal. le gîte est tout simplement magnifique agréable . vous êtes réveillé par la lumière du jour et le chant des oiseaux. Amoureux de la nature foncé chez Valentin ! En Plus il est sympa 😉

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel et ressourçant! Le gîte est très bien équipé et tellement agréable. Nous avons profité de la piscine et de la terrasse, où la vue est à couper le souffle. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de très bons conseils pour visiter la région. Agnès et son mari sont très sympathiques et flexibles. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce séjour et je recommande vivement ce lieu hors du temps. Merci à vous deux.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe aus drei Familien in dieser Unterkunft und haben uns sofort im Urlaub gefühlt. Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Pool ist herrlich und bietet viel Spaß für Groß und Klein. Die zusätzliche Ausstattung und der viele Platz im Haus lassen keine Wünsche offen. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Haus gefunden zu haben und können uns sehr gut vorstellen, hier wieder zu Gast zu sein. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Gastgeber!

We had a fantastic time in Fab's house... far too short a time as it turned out... so much to see, do and discover in the Ardèche which is beautiful. Fabrice had a host of great walking, swimming and visiting recommendations... the suggested visit to Plage du Cirque de Gens was wonderful for swimming, relaxing and jumping off rocks. Definitely a place we need to revisit for a lot longer...

Die Wohnung von Shirley war für uns vier mit Hund perfekt, um das traumhafte Labeaume und die großartige Gegend für eine Woche zu genießen. Die ansprechend und praktisch eingerichtete Wohnung und v.a. die Terrasse waren sogar etwas geräumiger als erwartet und durch Fensterfront und Dachfenster angenehm hell. Für uns war es kein Problem, aber weniger mobile oder besonders geräuschempfindliche Personen sollten beachten, dass die Wohnung rückseitig am Dorfplatz mit (sehr gemütlicher) Bar liegt und im zweiten Stock über zwei Außentreppen zugänglich ist. Shirley war eine perfekte Gastgeberin, sie war bei Bedarf immer hilfsbereit, flexibel und leicht zu erreichen. 100% Empfehlung!

Un séjour exceptionnel dans un lieu d’exception. Un grand merci à Yann pour son accueil chaleureux, sa conversation, sa gentillesse et ses conseils. Nous avons passé quelques jours merveilleux à Vézénobres. La maison, l’extérieur, le village… tout était parfait. Allez y les yeux fermés, pour un séjour au paradis. 😍

Emplacement idéal pour passer un séjour agréable à la campagne. Guy est sa femme sont des hôtes très charmants et accueillants.

Logement agréable et paisible, en plein cœur de Uzès. Il est calme. Par contre, l’entrée du bâtiment est un peu cachée et très étroite. Tous les petits commerces sont accessibles à pied et le marché est au pied de l’appartement. L’appartement est idéal pour deux personnes !

Sandra und Peter waren tolle Gastgeber. Sie haben uns sogar kurzfristig mit (Feinkost-)Nudeln ausgeholfen, die wir bei unserem Großeinkauf vergessen hatten. Und die Unterkunft und das ganze Gelände drumherum haben unsere Erwartungen wirklich noch übertroffen. Vom Ausblick aus dem bodentiefen Fenster und der gesamten Gartenanlage waren wir einfach nur geflasht. Mega toll ist auch die Möglichkeit, innerhalb von 20 Minuten zum Fluss wandern zu können, in dem man (neben dem Pool und dem hauseigenen Wasserbecken mit Wasserfall) toll baden kann. Beim Einschlafen hört man nur Wassergeplätscher und Froschgequake. Einfach nur paradiesisch.

Wij (Ellen en Hans) zijn gepensioneerd en hebben hier een maand gelogeerd om de drukte van alle dag te ontlopen Het bleek een prachtige locatie te zijn en exact zoals in de advertentie was aangegeven. Ver van de bewoonde wereld dus boodschappen etc. moest je wel plannen. Maar rust in overvloed. Geweldige host Kris en Greta, waren er als je ze nodig had, maar nooit opdringerig. Na een maand het gevoel er een stel vrienden bij te hebben. Hebben ook een lieve “sociale “ hond. Onze hond Beer had er duidelijk een vriendin bij Loulotje

Nous avons vécu une parenthèse inattendu chez Cinthia. Le moindre détail est pensé pour notre bien être. Nous avons passé de bons moments de partage et de rires. Nous avons découvert pleins d'appareils de détente qu'on peut facilement acheter. Nous n'avons pas pu tout essayer en 3 jours, c'est trop court. Nous reviendrons, c'est obligé.

Annick is a very kind and generous host. You feel right at home in the authentic french farmhouse. Annick kindly shared some of her home grown cherries and apricots which were delicious. The pool was fantastic with beautiful views across lavender and vineyards. Would highly recommend you experience a stay in this lovely accommodation

Super schönes Haus und riesieges Anwesen mit sehr grossem Pool. Ausstattung top. Alles da, viele Details, alles funktioniert. Der Verwalter Cedric ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert und sehr gut erreichbar, und unaufdringlich. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet mit allem Möglichem. Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal da in zwei Jahren, kommen bestimmt auch wieder. Unbedingte Empfehlung!

Nous avons passés un séjour très agréable au Pavillon d’été, dans un cadre magnifique! Laure et Benoît ont étés plus qu’accueillants et chaleureux :) Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour un nouveau séjour ! ✨

Die Atmosphäre dort ist wirklich toll. Es ist sehr ruhig und gefühlt mitten in der Natur. Trotzdem sind die großartige Bäckerei, ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein nettes Restaurant in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Vintage-Stil der Ausstattung und der Garten mit zwei Terrassen und Pool machen den Aufenthalt perfekt. Der Pool ist sogar größer, als er auf den Bildern aussieht. Lézan ist sehr dörflich aber gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet. Die Tipps und Hinweise von Fabrice waren sehr hilfreich. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und es gibt alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Unbedingt den Bio-Winzer nebenan besuchen und Wein kaufen!

Fab place, great social spaces for our group. The location was gorgeous. Lisa was very accommodating and let us check in two hours early and communicated well throughout. We all enjoyed our stay at the house and thought it was very reasonably priced. The parking area is very tight behind the gate if you’re driving a large people carrier, so takes a little while to park, but still serves its function well. A neighbour dealt with us during our stay - only speaks French - so good to keep this in mind if you don’t have a member / speak French yourself. Luckily one of our party spoke French, so it was fine. The neighbour wasn’t very warm but definitely didn’t take away from a beautiful place in a gorgeous village and a great stay. It was clean, the pool and games were fab, and the BBQ was brilliant. Definitely recommend the local cafe / pub for drinks in the evening too, it’s gorgeous!

Nous avons passé un super week-end au mas du Talon, le cadre est magnifique, le lieu est très apaisant. La villa est super bien équipée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Encore merci pour la qualité de l'accueil.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Le logement est très bien équipé et décoré avec soin. Le gros point fort est la vue ainsi que la piscine. Le propriétaire est disponible. Nous recommandons vivement.

Nous avons passé quelques jours magnifiques avec nos enfants et petits enfants, tout est parfait, avec énormément d'équipements de jeux variés, une piscine super agréable et une climatisation !!!, on recommande totalement, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

Grande maison bien située , bien équipée et confortable. La piscine est un véritable avantage d’autant plus qu’elle est chauffée . Jérémy est efficace, disponible et très sympathique. Je recommande fortement.
