The ‘Sun Cottage’ as it is affectionately known has recently had a modern makeover. With a south facing entrance and terrace guests can enjoy a drink in the sun well into the afternoon. 2 The Square is a lovely two bedroom period cottage in a row of cottages set back form the main road in the quiet village of Lesbury, Northumberland. Access is via a gravel track from the main road and you have your own parking space outside the front door. Lesbury is located close to historic Alnwick, and Alnmouth Beach is an easy 30min walk away, or 5 mins in the car. Alnmouth has numerous places to eat and drink and the pub in Lesbury is open for drinks only at the moment.

The cottage is placed perfectly to visit Alnwick Gardens and Alnwick Castle and is a 15 minute walk from Alnmouth Railway station, which is on the East Coast Main Line.

A beautiful, modern and tastefully converted stone barn retaining much of its original character and charm. The Granary is one of 3 holiday cottages converted from the former farm buildings of Bog Mill. Bog Mill is no longer a working farm. All three cottages are completely self contained with each cottage having their own individual garden areas, parking areas and garden furniture. The cottages do not overlook each other or share any facilities.

It is a light open and airy property decorated in a coastal theme. The lounge is upstairs in order to benefit from the views of the estuary; the kitchen is downstairs, patio doors give access to private outside area. Go through the gate and you will find a park by the river.
