Our cottage is located on the outskirts of the village of Ostrý, which is surrounded by vast pastures and forests of the Jistebnická vrchovina Nature Park. There used to be a farm here, of which only the stables and the swallows nesting in them remain today. Around the cottage is a large natural garden, which we use partly as a utility and partly as an ornamental garden. On one side, the garden ends with a pond, a road and a neighboring house, on the other sides it passes into an open landscape. There is a cat in the garden and in the house and a hen in the yard.

The kitchen, dining room and living room are connected; a French window leads to the garden from this space. The attic is accessed via the miller's stairs. In the attic, there are 2 bedrooms with 2 and 4 beds. The village is located on the river Lužnica (possibility of fishing), and there are the ruins of a castle and a Gothic church, near the town of Bechyně.

Our apartment in the castle was renovated in 2024. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, there is also a fully equipped kitchen available just for you. The apartment is mainly suitable for couples and individuals. Accommodation is also possible with a baby or child.
