Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lewes

My wife and I were looking for a Valentine’s weekend getaway from D.C. and this place did not disappoint! The house itself is spacious, clean and has great amenities. My favorite aspect is how close it is to the Lewes-Georgetown Trail, which afforded us hours of great walks and finds along the way. It’s also a short drive from downtown and the beach. We brought our well-behaved dog and the hosts were very accommodating. Speaking of the hosts, they were all around great – everything was already thought of, and if I ever had a question, I received an answer in a minute or two. Would love to stay here again.

Salty Roots Surf Shack provides good value for its price. The hosts were quick to respond to questions and it was easy to find, park, and get inside. The furnishings were comfortable (especially the beds) and adequate to our needs (we had to move a couple of lamps in order to read in the main room). We found the location convenient, but the house sits at a very busy intersection with traffic noise nearly 24/7., and we had to make short drives to find a safe green space to walk our dog. Overall, a successful rental. Our thanks to the hosts!

Well equipped house within very short walking distance to quite, private beach. Great amenities -- including bikes, kayak and paddle board. Private beach was gorgeous and very dog friendly, water was calm and shallow. Short driving distance to Lewes for great food, including terrific crabs.

We enjoyed our stay. Considering how close it was to the beach, the house was a great deal. Probably the best value for an AirBNB I've ever stayed.

Well maintained property. Very nice layout and beautiful furnishings. Landlord has a very loving and happy dog.

We had a wonderful stay and could not have felt more at home with our kids, their friends, and even our two dogs. The property is so comfortable and clean - it had everything we needed - and the screened-in porch was delightful to relax in. TJ was a terrific host - so responsive and proactive - everything was so smooth it made for a wonderful weekend at the beach to kick-off summer.

Linda was so friendly and responsive to all my questions. Her place is absolutely beautiful, clean, close to the beach and shopping outlets. It felt like home away from home. She thought about every need for her guests, even having bike available! This was my first time booking an Airbnb and the experience will absolutely make me a returning customer.

Amazing place to stay at Dewey Beach! We will definitely be back! Everything is so clean! The little details to everything really made this an incredible stay, from the kids toys, toiletries, kitchen items, even little mints in the bathroom! They truly think of everything! We cant wait to come back!

Beautiful spot! Great location, close to all the happenings of Ocean City, but peaceful and quiet at the house…perfect set up. Great neighborhood. The house is beautiful, all the beds very comfortable. The back deck is gorgeous, thoroughly enjoyed that space and taking the kayaks out on the canal! It’s worth bringing your own linens and towels, we packed everything into a large tote and it worked out perfectly. Very responsive and friendly host! We had a great time here and plan to return. Highly recommend!

This was our second time staying at the tiny house, and both times it was amazing. Great location, super close to the beach, and both of the hosts are extremely kind and responsive. The entire stay I felt at home. Worth every penny we spent, and we’re looking at coming back again next year!

We had a peaceful stay at Lilia’s place, and were under a 5 minute drive to my parents place in the Vineyards. This Airbnb is walkable to cvs, bakeries and Arenas diner, which worked out well for us to get food on the go. The two beds and two bathrooms also worked out well for a family of three. The amenities are modern including the HBAC, and was nice to have an outdoor space as well. WiFi worked for two of us to work and our daughter to stream videos. We would go back!

We loved staying at Lauren's place. She had everything organized. And it was a nice and clean place that was with in driving distance to Lewes. We would definitely stay here again!.

This place was amazing! The decor was wonderful, so cool and eclectic! My aunt, cousin, and I stayed for 3 nights and were happy and comfortable, it was a fun girls trip. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need and very clean. Bathrooms were super cool and both had walk in showers. The location was great, only a few minutes from downtown Cape May. My cousin enjoyed staying in the backyard bedroom, its was very cute an comfy. We also enjoyed the firepit in the evenings. Teresa had a great guidebook, and we took her up on several of her suggestions. Cape May is a fun town and the beautiful Victorian homes are not to be missed. I suggest the Historic trolley tour. All in all, this was a wonderful stay and would 100% stay again!

Beautiful house, spacious and clean. easy to relax inside or out. loved the floors no carpet makes for a easy clean up and no stuck in smells. No bugs or pests whatsoever(I always check thoroughly!). Overall a great stay. This was our second time visiting this home, and we will definitely visit more.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Even though the weather was not on our side most of our stay, we loved the peace and quiet, the cozy home atmosphere and the beach wildlife! I’m sure on warm sunny days the place is even better. You can see the ocean out of the window which is definitely very nice! And you hear the waves all the time, it is great. Our kids enjoyed observing ghost crabs and rescuing horseshoe crabs. The house was very clean and had all we needed. Highly recommend this place and the host for an enjoyable and peaceful stay!

Moms weekend with our daughters was awesome. The house was clean and comfortable. Really thoughtful touches such as a first aid kit, and over the counter meds. I have never seen that in any AirBNB. Outlet shopping and nice restaurants were close. An all around good time had by all.🍸

Great condo within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in Lewes as well as practically across the street from public beach access! Clean, bright, comfortable beds, and the fact all linens were included made our stay effortless! Outdoor shower for rinsing off was a huge plus as well. Zero issues whatsoever; would stay again!

Perfect place to stay in Rehoboth! I felt it was much easier to get around the beach town from the location of this house.

Marty’s place is perfect for a large group. It’s close to town and walkable to the beach. There is so much to do as well as the house is stacked with games. We loved hanging in the garage and by the hot tub. Would stay here again

There were no surprises. The home was described well and we felt it was a perfect place to relax. It was well updated as far as appliances, dishwasher, washing machine and heat and air conditioning. The air conditioning controls were easy to use and each room was able to be controlled. The kitchen was very well equipped with good pots and utensils. The showers were modern and shower heads were good. The den furniture was comfortable and lighting in the home was good. The yard had a private area to sit outside in big comfortable chairs. The back yard was mostly enclosed so we had to keep an eye on our pets which was not a problem as they are both obedience competitors. The walk to the beach was short and the bay water was warm for early June and it was very calm. The TV worked well and had many choices. We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and felt safe and comfortable and would love to come back again.

Fantastic host and pristine property. Jeff was incredible. The pictures were accurate. He was immediately responsive to each request. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, safe, and peaceful neighborhood close to the beaches and restaurants. I stayed 5 weeks, and I would absolutely book again with this host and on this property.
