Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous villa. From the moment we met Stefanos and his parents at their nearby taverna to say hello and get the keys, we knew it would be a great vacation. We were welcomed with cold drinks and plates of delicious food. Stefanos personally took us to the villa, showed us around and answered all our questions. There was a beautiful food basket (vegetables, fruit, olive oil, and other Crete delights) waiting for us as a further welcome. The villa itself is even more gorgeous than in the photos. It is beautifully appointed and each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bath so it was perfect for the couples staying there. The view is stunning - looking out over olive groves and farm land with the sea in the distance. We found fantastic beaches nearby, groceries and great tavernas in local villages. We also enjoyed some swims in the pool at the villa. All in all, a wonderful stay and a huge thanks to Stefanos and his family for so warmly welcoming us!

We felt very comfortable right from the start and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. In addition to the wonderful terrace with a fantastic view, the accommodation has a very good location. You can reach restaurants, supermarkets and the beach within a few minutes. We are always happy to come back. :)

The outdoor area is simply perfect, great seating, mega pool also for kids and with the spa whirlpool simply a paradise! Not to forget this beautiful view of the sunset 🤩 Not only is the accommodation perfect, but the hosts, Maria and Savas, are great hosts! Friendly and courteous, and always available! They brought toys for my son and despite the fierce challenge with the Sahara dust, they did everything to ensure that we can enjoy our vacation 100% 😊 We are already looking forward to our next visit to Crete and to Maria. The best, most luxe Airbnb experience! 🥹 From the epic views and immaculate landscaping (with butterflies everywhere!) to the private pool + tennis court to the incredible suite with comfortable bed, spacious / modern living + kitchen spaces and endless amenities. This place has it all and is in absolute paradise. We were at peace the whole time. We loved the outdoor shower, free laundry, local village bakeries / cafes & restaurants, total privacy, local provided olive oil (made by the host!), and friendly hosts. We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.

We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

A Perfect Mountain Retreat with Breathtaking Ocean Views! We had the most unforgettable stay at this stunning mountain retreat! Perched high above the sea, the view is absolutely jaw-dropping—sunrises here are something out of a dream. Every morning felt like a private show from nature. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to cozy linens. There’s plenty of outdoor seating to relax and take in the surroundings, and the ample parking made things super convenient. One of the highlights was how close we were to incredible local tavernas, all within minutes. The food was exceptional—authentic, flavorful, and served with panoramic views that made every meal a joy. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. This place truly has it all—comfort, beauty, convenience, and a touch of magic. We can’t wait to come back!

My stay was so beautiful! I was travelling alone but at no point felt uneasy or unsafe. I felt very much at home. The place is immaculate and exactly how it looks in the photos. The views are breathtaking and it is a complete peaceful haven! Giorgos also arranged car rental for me, he made it super easy and the company he booked through were great ! I could not recommend this place enough, from the property down to the communication with Giorgos, everything was perfect!

We spent a few wonderful days in Dimitri's dream villa. Everything was just perfect. Great pool, super well-maintained house and property in a beautiful location. From the house, supermarkets, restaurants and great bars by the sea are within walking distance. Dimitris was very helpful and accommodating and always available to us! If you want to spend a few relaxing days, you are in perfect hands in Dimitris Villa!

Modern accommodation close to the beach and all the restaurants in Agia Pelagia. Jacuzzi is a nice extra. Quiet. Host was helpful. If you come by car: the minor access road is steep. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the villa was just memorable! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Georgios, who took a lot of time to explain everything to us in peace. You can immediately feel his love for detail and hospitality. The view is a real highlight: from the terrace you have a breathtaking view over the glittering sea - as if it were painted! Waking up in the morning with this view and enjoying the sunset over the water in the evening was simply magical. The hosts are incredibly friendly and warm - you immediately feel at home. The villa itself is superbly equipped, very clean and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A place to dream and unwind – we will definitely be back!

Staying at Maria and her wonderful husband's house was simply overwhelming. The place Charaso is a beautiful village in the mountains and incredible for relaxation. The couple greeted us as warmly as the inhabitants of Crete are. We fell in love with the local pastries that were provided to us and the recommendation for the restaurant Gia mas was really worth its weight in gold. Nowhere on the island have we received such loving mezze for so little money. The neighbors were also incredibly hospitable. Special greetings to Eleftheria (I hope that's how you spell it), we miss you very much. We also hope that every visitor will take some cat food with them. In conclusion, we can only say: nowhere could we have experienced the real Cretan lifestyle better than in our cozy house in the great village of Charaso. We just fell in love.

For us it was an amazing stay in the idyllic little villa complex with pool and a beautiful wide view. The surroundings are peaceful, but you are close enough to walk to beach, restaurants and shopping. To reach more cities, beaches, etc., I would recommend having a car. The Greek host couple was very warm, attentive and helpful. We will be happy to return.
