The house that Mathios shares is located in a very quiet and beautiful western part of Crete. Olive courts and tomato plantations were all about. The house is adjacent to the Inn, which offers very tasty local dishes. The house itself is exactly like the photos, clean and well-maintained, perfect for a family of 5, as in our case. The distance to the nearest sandy beach, where we were often alone in early June, about a 15-minute walk. Distance to popular Falassarna beach about 20 minutes walk. I would definitely recommend this place.

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is sparkling clean and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how we could solve this. We had a wonderful stay, I would recommend it to everyone.

Maria’s place is an amazing property just outside Falasarna beach and was chosen by us to close our trip in Crete after we stayed for a week in Kissamos. The house is fully equipped with anything you might require and even more! The lights and design are amazing and so is the “hobbbit” door that separates the outside garden with the internal structure of the villa. It’s very well equipped with TVs and aircons in every room and in general tou get the feeling it’s a special place! Maria is an amazing host as well always checking politely and discretely through the app about any needs… the place is worth the price even if it’s a bit on the premium side! Highly recommended

We had a very nice stay at Anna Maria’s apartment. We enjoyed the beautiful view everyday and it’s not far away from the beautiful Falassarna beach. There are a couple of tavernas next to it. We recommend to travel by car. The apartment contains everything you need and it’s clean. The communication with Anna Maria was super and she really cared about us having a good time. Thank you so much Anna Maria!

Great little pad at Elafonisi, and pretty much the closest you can be to the beach - which is about 7 minutes walk from all the accommodation and town. Lovely and peaceful – even though it was central it was tucked away and felt remote. Could have been stocked a bit better - only enough for 1 1/2 coffees, no tea. Great fridge/freezer but no glasses or plates - though they delivered some when I asked. As it's a great spot to relax after your beach time. Would recommend.

We loved our stay at Konstantina’s. The house is surrounded by beautiful nature and feels really peaceful and secluded, but it’s still an easy drive to the beaches and to Kissamos. The space itself is spotless, full of character, and has everything you need. It strikes the perfect balance—modern comfort with a traditional, authentic feel. Even during the hot days, the house stayed cool, and there’s AC if you want it. That said, the real standout was Konstantina and her husband. They were incredibly kind and generous—Konstantina was always available, thoughtful, and welcoming. Her care and attention made the experience feel truly special, and the little gifts she left us were such a sweet touch. Highly recommend this place. Just a heads-up: the Airbnb map doesn’t show the exact location, so wait for her message with the correct link before heading out.
