Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lincoln

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend here with our family (5 adults, 1 child, 1 dog). The house is very comfortable & beautifully updated/decorated. The setting is even better in person than we were expecting with an expansive lawn perfect for playing games. We had read other reviews about the neighbors having free roaming pet rabbits and saw them quite a bit. Fortunately our dog is a good listener and left them alone but could prove challenging for other dogs depending on their temperament. The lake was gorgeous and the location within one of the coves felt quiet and private while offering easy access to the rest of the lake via boat, kayak, etc. Enjoyed sitting on the dock & picnic table by the waters edge. Appreciated all the kayaks, games, toiletries & kitchen items provided as well as the large deck with grill & the firepit with chairs. Conveniently close to the boat launch, grocery store, restaurants, gas station, etc. if you need to run out for anything. Thanks for a great stay!

We had such a nice stay at Ross and Dana’s place! The home was spacious and private, and we loved waking up for a view of the lake with our morning coffee. Whether it was going for a paddle on the lake or taking a day trip into Acadia, their place was the perfect location for our stay!

My family loved our stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and right by the lake. There was lots to do at the with all the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards available to explore the lake. We spent a couple of days exploring Acadia, but enjoyed just staying at the house enjoying the scenario. James was also a very responsive host.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

Beautiful location, accommodating host and very responsive and flexible. The place is a hidden gem right next to the lake. It is in a very secluded setting, definitely worth it.

Great long weekend - the perfect “staycation” for relaxation. The walk down to the water was beautiful, the views are truly wonderful, location was awesome. Easy ride to the state park. Always nice to find a home where we can bring the dog, and have it be clean and well cared for! Hot tub did not disappoint.

We absolutely loved our stay! Kevin and Michelle were excellent hosts exceptionally friendly, responsive, and helpful. Although gps was undependable, they gave excellent driving directions from an easily found spot with dependable gps coverage. Kevin and Michelle truly have a slice of paradise. Their cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained. Yards surrounding cabin were so tastefully landscaped with beautiful flowers everywhere. Just imagine a spot in the mountains with snow on mountain tops, a nice sandy beach, free kayaks and canoes, big lake with fish, loons and all kinds of wildlife. Follow this with a spectacular sunset and you have Windy Point!

This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The lake is beautiful—we spent a lot of time kayaking and fishing and just enjoying the view. The cabin had everything we needed and was super clean and comfortable. Jodi and Marc were so welcoming and clearly care about making sure their guests have a great stay. We had an awesome time and would definitely come back!

The cabin was breathtaking, with a history painted and photographed among her walls. Perfect amount of space to accommodate a family should you have one. The morning sunrise was spiritual, and humbling. Host was incredibly friendly and accommodating for our dog. Arjuna. Will absolutely be returning. Thank you for an amazing and beautiful experience.

Incredible lake house. Overlooks the lake, and really was the perfect get away weekend. Gary provided detailed instructions, and left a bunch of recommendations for the area. We will be back!

We stayed at the lake house for a month and had an absolutely wonderful time! The host was very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the log furniture—it added such a cozy touch. The house was well-stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Truly a home away from home. Thank you!

If you are looking for a peaceful lake front getaway at a beautiful, cozy cabin, tucked deep in the Maine woods, this is where you want to go. Pet friendly, with other dogs on sight that visit daily (..for a dog lover, it's an extra amenity!) The screen porch is the best room in the house. Newly built. Full bathroom w/ hot shower. Big kitchen, ready to make a feast in. Comfy beds. Catch fish off the dock all day, or rent a boat on sight and troll the lake. There was stuff to do in the area, but once we got there, we didnt want to leave, and only did when we had to go get more worms. There is a little general store a 15 minutes away, which had all the last minute stuff from milk & gas to fishing supplies. We also grabbed an absolutely incredible cut of meat from the deli and grilled it back at camp for the best dinner ever, which we enjoyed while listening to the sound of loons and crickets. It was picture perfect. A truly beautiful and special place. Can't wait to return!

This cabin is the perfect retreat when you need to get away! Cozy yet chic, it has everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the woods. We loved that we could bring our dog too!

My mother and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend and a nearby wedding. As lifelong Mainers, we were looking for a rustic camp on the water with a screened porch, and this place delivered. We spent our time reading, napping, walking, and even doing a little work (the internet was surprisingly fast). It was so nice that we could include our small dog with us as well. While the camp has a rustic charm, it’s thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts: comfy beds, quality linens, a smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided extras most don’t—like paper goods, baggies, matches, and toiletries—and were nearby if anything was needed. They even included shower essentials if you happened to forget any. The sunrise was spectacular from the front porch. Loons swam by daily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have extended it---we would definitely book again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

Tammy and Randy made us feel right at home. We had everything we needed, and all the things we didn’t know we did! The kayaks were awesome and the full face snorkeling masks were a blast! The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything we could imagine, and the whole cottage was so comfortable. Our family loved our stay in Julie’s place! It has the most beautiful view of the water & mountain. The weather didn’t cooperate while we were there to be able to enjoy the views or outside as much. But can’t say enough good things about this property! You won’t regret staying here! There’s such good restaurants close by, too! Check out Knifes Edge Brewery & River Drivers Restaurant. Moose Prints Gallery and Gifts has amazing photography and gifts, the owners were SO kind!

I had a great time staying at Tom and Cindy's Airbnb with my family. It was peaceful and the pond was beautiful. The home was very clean and very well stocked. It made cooking easier which we did a bit of during our stay. I highly recommend Shelby's Cafe which is not too far from the cabin. The drinks (alcoholic) were also a hit. The service was exceptional and the food was good. The owner gave us free cupcakes for the adults and children! We visited Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, which are our favorite spots (about 2 hours from the cabin). The weather was about 50-60 degrees during the day and the crisp air felt amazing. The Botanical Gardens in Boothbay was also very nice (about 2 hr from the cabin).I think going there at night would be even more amazing to see the lights. It was a family friendly attraction. They have a garden just for the kids with a sandbox, water play, scavenger hunt, and a variety of play houses, and games. Very nice stay!

This is such a special place! The cabin is beautifully designed and the views are wonderful! David left perfect instructions as to how to live “off grid” and is quick with responses if needed. So much to explore durning any season- from mountains to coast! Hope to return- maybe during blueberry season!!

We fell in love with this home and the property. Truly something special. Stunning views. Camp was well stocked. Did some great fishing and some off roading. We can’t wait to come back. We never wanted to leave.
