We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It was immaculately clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Patricia was a fantastic host, warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. The thoughtful addition of breakfast ingredients for our first morning was a lovely touch. The cottage is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful area, just a short distance from Ashford Castle. We were 3 adult couples touring Ireland. The place is lovely with the river running next to the house. Hugh was there to meet us with instructions and recommendations and Anne had left us some homemade brown bread . It’s only a couple of minutes walking distance from the picturesque Cong village with lovely pubs and music on Thursdays to Sundays. Some lovely walks as well. Overall a great find and would defiantly stay again if in the area. The film The Quiet Man with John Wayne was filmed in Cong in 1951 so worth a watch before you go or you can watch on the DVD provided at the house.

A beautiful peaceful location located in very close proximity to Cong village. Sinead is a very responsive host and I have no hesitation in recommending The Loft.

Super location, great hosts and the cleaner, Sally was also helpful and friendly. The listing omits the fact that there are two shower rooms with toilets, so the facilities are better than you would expect. We were staying for a wedding at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. The location is great for that and you can see where you were staying on the wedding pictures.
