Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Little Italy, San Diego

Very fun and comfortable!! Great location right near all the Little Italy restaurants, farmer’s market, shops, etc.

I forgot my toothbrush and Seng had one just in case...well this was the case. Muchas gracias. The refrigerator was spotless and the AC worked wonderfully. I liked the location even with the airplanes flying overhead.

Really great spot, 2 mins walk from Little Italy. It has 3 really good sized bedrooms, could easily fit 3 couples or 6 people. I would say it is much bigger than what the pictures show. Would defo return!

Jing has been a super kind, flexible and responsive host. The place was charming and in an excellent location and the patio was the best part of the casita. Thank you so much Jing for your help during the stay , you have been extra kind and understanding to all our needs. will come back for sure !

This home was amazing! Great location and easy walking distance to many local attractions including Balboa Park, the zoo, little Italy, the gas lamp district, Petco Park and downtown. We were lucky enough to meet Manuel. He showed us the home and shared many great tips and stories about the local area. It made for a very special experience. He also provided a well written guide with lots of recommendations and tips. The house is very nice, well decorated and comfortable bedding. Even though the home is located near the airport and a busy road, the noise level was nonexistent. The home is equipped with sound dampening materials and extra thick windows. It was very quiet. We had a terrific time and I enjoyed staying there. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Manuel!!

The house is absolutely gorgeous, we’d love to come back again if possible. The balcony is cute, nice place to drink and chill with friends. We got everything we need in the house. And the neighbours are cute. We are so grateful that you responded fast to us when we needed help and it made things so much easier. Thanks again 😆❤️

This house was BEAUTIFUL. So unique and charming…everything was well planned out with instructions across the house and was stocked with everything we could want/need. Also, f we had any questions Lucinda was very responsive! The location is close to downtown, the Zoo, the farmers market, great restaurants, the sunset cliffs, beaches and more. The only thing I would warn is that it is also close to the airport, so planes fly right over the house so if you are sensitive to loud noises or weary, plan ahead! All in all, an amazing stay, couldn’t recommend enough!

This place is lovely!! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We amazing 4 nights, everything was clean and cute and Sean was quick to respond when we reach out. Definitely recommend!

This location is close to so many great amenities and parks. My favorite part was our peaceful morning walks around the neighborhood and discovering nearby cafes. We were a group of four ladies and felt very safe the entire time. Parking is street only, which can be a little tricky at night, but I was always able to find a spot just a block away. The home itself is super cozy—perfect for a group of four. It was very clean and well-organized. I really appreciated the little touches like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner provided, something not every Airbnb offers! If you're planning to hit the beach, make sure to bring beach towels and maybe a blanket to lay on. Many beaches in San Diego don’t have much shade, so be prepared for the sun! Thank you for letting us stay in your cute place. Also, shoutout to Paul—he was always available and responded to my texts immediately. Great host!

Staying at wade’s was amazing. I felt comfortable in the neighborhood and in the retreat as well! Quiet and peaceful, bed was so comfortable I slept like a rock. Would highly recommend staying at Wade’s retreats!

Rich and Ruby’s place is exactly what my partner and i were looking for! Enough space, in good shape, would recommend!

Our stay was great! The apartment was clean, AC worked great, nice deck. Many amenities at the property to use- pool, gym, rooftop deck. Parking spot was great as well!

Amazing stay, pictures don’t do it this place justice! The two balconies were a plus as well! Dain was a very responsive host and made sure we had everything we needed. Very clean and worth every penny. Definitely will be returning when in town again!

Joe's place was great, very close to downtown and Balboa park. Very easy to get around and even get all the way up to places outside the city like La Jolla. Joe was also an excellent host who promptly responded and offered a lot of flexibility.

Perfect place to stay. The apartment was beautiful, the queen size bed was very comfortable. I needed some help opening the couch bed and Danny took care of it as soon as I asked. Everything looked clean and smelled clean too. We had plenty of bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths. The kitchen was totally stocked with everything needed to cook a meal or eat carryout. There was cold water in the fridge waiting for us. An unexpected delight were the fresh flowers on the kitchen table, bedroom, and by the bathroom sink. We only had one inconvenience, the push button lock wouldn't lock. Rosina & Danny gave us a key to come & go with. The landscaping was meticulously kept up. Lush cactus, passion flower, & different succulents made the garden gorgeous. This made us feel like it was our own little piece of paradise. Rosina and Danny were SUPER hosts. I can not say enough good things about them!

The place is in a quiet neighborhood a few blocks away from the beach and a bunch of restaurants. It’s a pretty small apartment but it’s extremely comfortable.

I enjoyed staying at Vivian's place and it worked just fine for my purposes. I was in town for a conference and the home is about a 20 minute walk to the convention center. The apartment was well appointed and I appreciated the in-unit washer and dryer. The home is in a quiet area of the city and fairly residential. There weren't many people walking around when I was coming back at night, which did give me pause as a solo female traveler, however I found the surroundings to be safe and had no problems.

Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back

We stayed for the Rock N Roll marathon for 5 days. We had 4 people in our group and felt like it was the perfect space. The kitchen had all the amenities to make a meal. The condo was very comfortable and walkable! We were just a short walk to the start line of the race and easily walkable to the boardwalk. It was also about a 10 min drive from the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in San Diego!

Great place. I recommend if you need a quiet and comfy place to stay. If you have a car, they have a parking spot if needed :)

Place is clean and has an amazing view, Savana was responsive. Parking is a great.

I had a great time staying at Thelma De La Paz’s place! The space was cozy, very clean, and exactly what I needed for a comfortable stay. Thelma was a wonderful host - polite, welcoming, and super responsive to any questions I had. Highly recommend!

Loved staying here. 2nd floor has a nice breeze and all amenities needed in a home. Onsite parking provided, AC Unit, and all necessary utensils/equipment for cooking. Tony actually reached out to us an hour after our stay to let us know we left some important documents at his home. Thankfully he was communicative and responsive as we were able to retrieve them quickly and efficiently. We heard the below tenants a few times but nothing out of the ordinary. Would happily stay here again.

It was lovely and clean and perfect for a staycation. Only thing was the TV apps for streaming didn’t work and had to watch regular tv but everything else was fine. Definitely recommend!
