Talgarth achieved Gold in Wales in Bloom in 2021 and 2022 and a Gold in Britain in Bloom 2022. The pretty river Enig flows through the centre of town. Its situation is perfect for walking and cycling in the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. Canoeing, sailing and horse-riding activities are nearby.
