Good place, little cousin loved the hot tub. Very clean, well kitted out for me and the dog

Great little cabin, cosy especially with the heater and nice to have the microwave/kettle/toaster to make things a bit easier. The facilities at the campsite were good and there was a nice atmosphere with lots of character. Easy access to coastal walking which is why I was there. Mattresses were comfy and it was nice to have the picnic bench out front. The only downside for me is that the hot water requires coins - Pete made this very clear in advance but I sadly lost my wallet with my 20p in so didn't sample the hot showers. Personally I would prefer to pay £1 extra per day on the booking and not have the hassle of coins. Value for money with 4 occupants would be excellent.

We loved every minute of our stay. Just big enough for 2 adults and our dog. We loved being outside in the private garden, watching the sea with a glass of wine. The dog loved it too, it was very safe and secure. 45mins flat walk, into the town of Barmouth, via the useful instructions left by Hayley. We ate at Dylans (15mins walk, turn right on the main road) and Bay View (6mins walk turn left on the main road) would recommend both, we didn't book and got a table but I would think you'd need to book during high season. Fantastic stay and we will definitely book to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sioned’s shepherd’s hut. A couple of days before our arrival, we received clear instructions for check-in along with easy-to-follow directions—everything was smooth and hassle-free. We were blown away by how lovely the place was: spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. Sioned stayed in touch via messages throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. She responded quickly to questions when we asked for advice on activities and was extremely helpful and pleasant. It’s peaceful and private, yet still close enough to the nearest town if you need anything. We especially loved using the hot tub each night—perfect for relaxing our tired legs after busy days of walking. The view over the surrounding countryside while soaking in the tub was absolutely beautiful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

We had an amazing stay at erw Glamping, everything was clean and very cosy. We loved using the fire heatet hot tub. The only point I would note is that I wish on the listing it was noted that only a certain amount of wood would be provided. In the future I would bring my own wood as there wasn’t enough provided to heat up the hot tub for the entirety of our stay and to make use of the fire pit. But all in all, had a lovely time. We LOVED the hut, it had everything we needed, we enjoyed every minute. The highlights were the spectacular views, the quiet (not even the noise of a fridge, or pipes or generator!) but easy access to some facilities down the hill to where the hosts share a sink, shower room / toilet, mini-fridge and wall socket for phone! Many thanks to these fantastic hosts!

Helen was an absolute dream of a host! From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and at home in the beautiful shepherd's hut. The hut itself was charming and perfectly appointed - we loved every detail, from the cozy decor to the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The real highlights of our stay were the thoughtful gestures Helen made for us. She baked a gorgeous cake for my partner's birthday, which was almost too pretty to eat! And the freshly baked bread she left for us was absolutely delicious - it was lovely to wake up to the aroma of freshly baked goods! Helen's kindness, warmth, and attention to detail truly made our stay special. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt cared for and comfortable, and her hospitality was truly exceptional. If you're looking for a unique and memorable experience, look no further! The shepherd's hut is a gem, and hospitality is top-notch. Would 100% stay again!

The best holiday we ever had in The UK in 10 years we've been here. We celebrated our 2 years relationship anniversary and we enjoyed every single second spent here! Alphie, our 7 years old Huksy also had a great time! We managed to do a lot of walking, hiking and even found lots of blueberries up the mountain. Stunning location, nice little stream, amazing hot tub, comfy bed, very clean kitchen with everything we needed & a hot shower. Couldn't be more perfect! Highly recommend all year round to everyone who loves nature & peace.

Brilliant location for new borough beach … had lovely dog friendly meal at Dylan’s. Space great for dogs, fully enclosed.

Really enjoyed staying here and loved all the animals! Very friendly ducks! Phil was great at recommending where to go and we cycled to Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest and along the river (traffic free) to Llangefni. Would definitely spend more time exploring the area next time.

My third time staying in the caravan at Pippa and Jony's, it is a magic place. Peaceful, restorative, beautiful and incredibly special. Some of the best sleeps of my life in that incredible bed! Thanks as always Pippa and Jony.

Better than I anticipated, we really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a beautiful little place, peaceful and quiet, very secluded and the views from the bed were amazing. main attraction to the area was to climb cadair idris which was a 5 minute drive, also wanted to see dyfi bike park, which again was probably 10 minute drive. Dave was very welcoming and kept me updated from the moment I booked our accommodation. Popped in and welcomed us when we got settled. Notifying us of the comedy show that was on for the weekend and other places to eat / drink in the local area. Will happily return when I’m ready to hit the bike park or when visiting Barmouth beach again.

Lovely place that is in an excellent location. My little boy loved playing in the grounds outside and seeing the animals. Great communication from David and the flexible check in/out was appreciated. The only point I would say is the hut is located next to a car park for the farm which isn’t mentioned in the listing. Only a couple of cars coming and going but it does take away from that remote aspect and an extra worry with small children. Thanks for a great stay 😊

We have a lovely stay at the Shepherd's Hut. The area is so peaceful and secluded, it had everything we needed and we enjoyed meeting the dogs, ponys and goats! Rebecca and Dave were great hosts, very friendly and helpful! We'd definitely recommend staying here :)

Wow, what and amazing location and beautiful and homely accommodation. Maggie has thought of everything and the shepherds hut was done to the highest standard. Was so comfortable and homely really did not want to leave. The stream running next to the hut was peaceful and stunning. The hot tub away an amazing touch. Everything has been thought of and done out to the highest of standards. Maggie her self was a lovely warm and friendly soul. She made us feel right at home and was easy going and very helpful. What a beautiful spot they have there in a stunning little village on such the stunning Isle of Anglesey. Wish I was still there now. Can not wait for my next visit❤️

This is a wonderful place for a relaxing break. The surroundings are beautiful, the accommodation is stunning with everything you could possibly need. And I loved the little extra touches. The goat’s milk soap is wonderful, so moisturising you don’t need hand cream after! And a few little treats also! We spent a lovely evening listening to bird song then lighting the fire pit to prolong our time outside. And if you are lucky you might get to meet Mr Pickle the cat! If you need somewhere to unwind and relax this is the place for you!

My second time of staying here every bit as good as the first. Convenient stopover for one night. Late checkout makes for a relaxed morning and breakfast on the patio is always a treat. Nice to see an improved TV this time round with all streaming services available. Will definitely come back whenever I am in town needing a room.

Ian's place is very charming and it was perfect for our stay in Wales. Ian had baked a cake for us, which was extremely sweet of him, and communication with him was truly excellent. We unfortunately had to cut our trip a bit short, but next time we come to this part of Wales, I'd definitely love to come back to Ian's place and hopefully meet him in person!

The hut was an amazing place to stay; cozy, secluded and surrounded by nature. It was incredibly peaceful and made for the most beautiful get-away. It had everything we need and Ned was really helpful. We initially booked for two nights and ended up staying for one more. We are definitely hoping to return!

Amazing hosts and beautiful scenery, so lovely and welcoming! Responded quickly and were very helpful! The freshly baked Welsh cakes were just divine, we were obsessed! Would recommend and will hopefully be back soon ! 🩷
