The most popular is certainly the hike to a beautiful glacial lake Krn, under the top of mountain Krn.

Our house is located in Triglav National Park at the edge of a little village on the hillside of Pokljuka plateau, with beautiful views on the Bohinj valley. The house is comfortably equipped in rustic style and offers peaceful accommodation in pure nature. There are many possibilities for pleasant walks around the village. Nearby are many starting points for hikes in the beautiful mountains of Julian Alps. It is also close to turistic centers of Bohinj (10 km) and Bled (25 km).

It is a short walk from the center of the village and is a strategic starting point for the naturalistic and historical excursions that Val Saisera offers. In the village, there is a grocery store for basic necessities, a few hundred meters from the house. A supermarket is 4 kilometers towards Tarvisio. One km from Valbruna are the accesses to the AlpeAdria cycle path.

Mountains and Lakes

Located a stone's throw from the border with Slovenia and Carinthia, a few kilometers from Tarvisio, two ski areas very close and a stone's throw from the wonderful Lake Raibl and the majestic Mount Mangart. The Raibl mine, the mining museum, and the military history museum of the Great War make the town of Cave del Predil an interesting place from a historical and cultural point of view. Long bike paths and wonderful hiking trails make this place fabulous.
