Slipper Rock Cabin

Called “Slipper Rock” in memory of Bessie Lakes, an elderly lady that lived on farm many years ago. She could be heard laughing while playing in the stream that runs by the cabin. She called the stream “Slipper Rock”. The newly built cabin sits on 15 acres. Numerous hiking trails & horseback riding trails. Some trails in Daniel Boone National Forest. Bring your own horses. Relax sitting on porch, by fire pit or on rocks by stream. Nothing prettier than the night sky. Hope to see you all soon.

Enjoy all the scenery of Bell county in this creekside cabin. Whether you prefer to hike, fish, ride sxs, or just enjoy scenery, we have it all. 3 min from Pine Mtn State Park and Wasioto Winds Golf Course, 7 min to downtown Pineville, 20 min to Cumberland Gap National Park. Kingdom Come State Park and Cumberland Falls are an hour drive. Load up your sxs or atv and ride one of the many trails right from the driveway! Black Mountain Off Road Park and Tackett Creek are also about an hour away.

The Cabin on Panther Branch

Drive down Kentucky scenic highway 89 South just 9 miles south of McKee. The cabin is newly built and set back in a secluded area with a small creek running right beside the cabin and a larger creek just across the road. The Cabin on Panther Branch is a perfect place to come fish and kayak on the creek. Bring your ATV’s, side by side or dirt bikes and enjoy miles and miles of riding in S-Tree Tower in the Daniel Boone National Forest. We don’t think you will be disappointed with your stay.

Lakes Creek Log Cabin

The two door "saddlebag" cabin is surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and near McKee, a Kentucky Trailtown. Nestled in a small valley, our quaint cabin is the perfect mountain getaway. Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. If you are a history buff, interested in Appalachian culture, or just want a charming, outdoorsy and secluded getaway, this cabin is for you. This unit is a condo overlooking a beautiful spring-fed lake and a wonderful mountain background. Feel free to take a stroll around the property, and in the evening make a fire and roast marshmallows. This location is just over 11 miles off of I75. Close attractions include Cumberland Falls, Levi Jackson, Pine Mountain, Colonel Sanders Museum, Laurel Lake and more. This is a former paylake and no longer used for fishing except when private events have booked the entire property.

Also enjoy and view the Big South Fork scenic railway train. Security cameras are turned off when guest are occupying cabin.
