Our romantic windmill (1874) is just a few miles from Amsterdam in wide green fields and along a meandering river: "Gein". Easy access to the A'dam. by car, train or by bike. You have the entire windmill to yourself. Three floors, 3 bedrooms with double beds: it easily sleeps 6, a kitchen, living, 2 toilets and a bathroom with bath/shower. Bikes available + kayak. Just leave some extra money if you did use them. No need to reserve ahead. Great swimming water and small landing just in front.

Gertrude’s house is lovely. You can tell she uses it herself because it’s so well appointed. Gertrude met us on check in, was very welcoming and talked us through everything. We had one issue the next morning, but she was very responsive in sorting it out. The area is lovely. We hired e-bikes and were able to cycle to Utrecht as well as a country ride to view windmills. Amsterdam is a little further but I’m sure enthusiasts could cycle there. We caught the bus from 5 mins walk away then the train from Hilversum. We would stay again if visiting the area.

I needed a reasonably priced get away and a place outside the busy city to stay while I adventured around Amsterdam. A bus stop was right by the house that made transportation super easy. I felt at home every night I stayed during my two weeks in the Netherlands. The local area is beautiful and really gives you the full experience of day to day life. The restaurants near by were really delicious. I spent a lot of days just resting and relaxing in the home and it was far more spacious than I could have imagined. The location, the atmosphere, the space, and the town all made for the perfect first time experience in the Netherlands. I wish I could have stayed longer.

A little paradise - our weekend on the small houseboat was simply fantastic! It is furnished with great attention to detail, very tasteful and at the same time cozy. A perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. It is well equipped and we lacked nothing. The pretty garden with sauna and the special jungle shower was a real highlight and made the stay with a view of the river a very special experience. The surroundings also invite you to take long walks, and the town is easily accessible on foot. Anita is a great host: so warm, likeable and helpful – we felt welcome from the first moment. The breakfast she conjured up for us was simply delicious - an absolute treat that you should not miss. She gave us good tips and was always available. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend this paradise 100%!

Together with my wife, we spent a weekend in this beautiful B&B to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. We were looking for a quiet place where we could enjoy luxury and all the comforts. You won't be disappointed here! The place has a great view where you can completely relax. The amenities are also great and with a 15-20 minute walk you are in the center. Stefan is very friendly and very helpful. We can't think of anything negative and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy!!
