Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lorraine

We visited the Grand Petit Prince for the second time and were also very satisfied with this stay. The accommodation is spacious and cozy. All the necessary things for well-being are available and the accommodation is very quiet. We also appreciated Diane's cremant.

The house, as described. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. Comfortable beds. A wonderful, large fenced garden. Dog paradise. The location, absolutely quiet and the possibility to do the morning round in the countryside with the dogs. The hosts are always available to solve a technical problem. Many thanks to Isabelle and Eric. Too bad the weather wasn't that good.

Perfect for a stop over while travelling through France. Very modern and clean. Good communication about check in and easy to get in. The home has all that you need in the kitchen to be able to cook and clean up. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

We had a great weekend in this beautiful villa, nothing was missing. The only thing that could be improved would be the sofa bed in one of the rooms, but that's nitpicking. Thanks to Didier and his wife for the wonderful time

Very good and pleasant accommodation, quiet atmosphere, there is all the necessary furniture and appliances.. nearby there are two excellent lakes for fishing…

I had a truly wonderful stay at Bernard and Faustine’s place. The house is beautiful, but the insanely beautiful garden was an unexpected highlight. The whole place feels like time has stood still, in the best possible way. It’s incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature, and at night you can see all the stars thanks to the total lack of light pollution. You share the garden, but Bernard and Faustine are so kind and discreet that it feels completely natural. They pass by, say hello, and everything stays relaxed and easy. Their warm welcome, with delicious touches like truffle brie, fresh apple juice and champagne, made me feel instantly at home. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thanks Faustine and Bernard ;)

What a beautiful place. Our one concern was that it appears close to a large road on the map, but this turned out to be a non issue. The road is small, and also far away. The place is so so cute, so so peaceful and Jörg was extremely pleasant to interact with. We would definitely stay here again.

We spent a few days in Christine’s house. The house was meeting our needs (with children and dog) perfectly. The house is beautifully equipped, has a nice outside area and provides a lot of things to do (games, books, toys for children etc.) The communication with Christine was easy and she was a nice and caring host. We felt welcome at all times. This place is highly recommendable. Thank you Christine!

Very nice apartment ideally located to discover Colmar and its surroundings. We appreciated Sacha's recommendations for parking our car in the Saint Josse parking lot located 5 minutes from the accommodation for 3 euros for 24 hours. The restaurants recommended by Sacha were excellent. On the other hand, Sacha kindly offered us to arrive earlier because the apartment was available. We were also lucky to be able to enjoy the accommodation until 2:30 p.m. because there was no one after us. I highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Colmar.

Great place! When have you actually ever stayed in a real castle. Xavier is a great host too and gave us some books on the surroundings. He also allowed us to charge our electric car.

We liked the place very much. It is in the heart of the city, but it is still very quiet. The apartment was very lovingly and charmingly furnished. The small courtyard was also very nice. We arrived by train and the proximity to the train station was perfect. Thank you very much for the beautiful days in Nancy.

I found this a wonderful place to stay when budgeting for a vacation in France and Switzerland was too expensive to stay in. Gillian and Marion have provided many details and recommendations to enhance your stay in Colmar. As a history major, I really enjoyed the modern apartment which kept many features of its original charm. Colmar is a lovely peaceful getaway from the chaotic city life I’m used to. We appreciated the provisions that Gillian and Marion thought of to make this stay accommodating for all guests.

This vacation has exceeded all our expectations. A haven of peace in the midst of nature, which gives you new strength and energy. We felt super comfortable right away. The place was fully equipped and very clean. The view is simply indescribably beautiful and lets you forget everyday life. We also felt very comfortable with Iris as a host. She was very flexible and easy to reach. We can only recommend a vacation there!!!!

We too moved the table to face the window and get the entertainment of the street… great view of the cathedral and close to everything from restaurants to museums, train and boat ride. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen, although tiny, allowed us to prepare breakfasts and light dinners ( I loved the good spinning bowl to wash the greens) Bathroom was great, we had nice hot water for the 4 days except on Saturday morning. The only draw back was the stairs, narrow 20 steps twice ( which is expected in France) but in bad condition. So the entrance is not flattering but once we are in the studio, everything is impeccable. Thank you for a great remodeling job!

This is a great place to stay in Colmar. Although parking is a bit of a problem and very expensive.

The apartment and the small garden in front of it are simply enchanting, with a bit of the Villa Kunterbunt. You could also get to the center quickly by bus. As mentioned in the previous reviews, you have to be aware that the apartment is located directly on a busy street. It didn't really bother us now. Would come back immediately 🙂
