Holiday rentals with breakfast in Los Altos

It felt like visiting family rather than an Airbnb. The house is well decorated and fully stocked, feeling like a cozy home rather than a rental. Also, when we arrived, Jim had fresh bread and other items for us, which made us feel welcome and at ease. The house is on a corner of the street but between the dual roller shades and the plants around the backyards, it feels calm and isolated both in the house and on the back patio. The shower had amazing water pressure, the bathroom was fully stocked and had a hair dryer and all the accessories including a diffuser! The kitchen has a viking stove, good pots and pans as well as sharp knives making cooking easy. The house is blocks from bookstores, restaurants, grocery stores, and so much more. We also greatly appreciated the parking spot reserved for us, allowing us to drive there and not fight for street parking whenever we came back.

This place is beautiful, well-decorated, immaculate and perfect!! You can not find this kind of place anywhere else. We had a wedding venue and it was indeed walkable to the event venue and lots of restaurants. The area is very pretty and quiet. Nancy was very attentive, always responded within a few minutes and gave us her undivided attention. I highly recommend this place for you and your family if you are at Half Moon Bay!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. The host was responsive and helpful. I felt good staying there especially since it was close to a lot of the things I wanted to do.

Pam was a fantastic host. Super responsive. One of the nights, there was an issue with the kitchen sink and she fixed it right away. Her place matched the photos and was nice and clean. The backyard is great. She let us use it for a picnic. I would definitely stay here again 🙂

Beautiful home with gorgeous interior design. Well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. Location is super convenient to the baseball and basketball stadiums, and a short drive from Union Square and other tourist attractions. Fun bar next-door with a very kind owner, cute dog and good food. Adell was very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed staying at Denis’s place. It was located near where we wanted to be in the city in Bernal heights. The views are very nice and the space is beautiful inside with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen. Parking is a little tough but we were able to park within a block. We would stay again.

The place was very nice, very clean, and very nicely stocked with linens, toiletries; it basically had everything I needed. The space is so cozy and nice. Very quiet neighborhood, especially if you have a dog and like to take walks in the park. It's important to note that host is in the house, he was in and out during my stay, which wasn't a problem whatsoever, but was a bit of a surprise. He does state that he lives on site, but I didn't expect to have him entering the property late at night. Specifically on my first day, I was asleep, upstairs and he entered the property at about 10:30pm. It startled me a bit. He was respectful of my space, but I was acutely aware of his presence once I realized he was entering the house at any time. This is a lovely spot to stay, in a really nice neighborhood. It's incredibly well kept and comfortable. It's just really important to note that the space is not 100% private, and is shared with the host.

Great little place right near family we were visiting. Walkable to lots of good restaurants and cute stores!

Barbara was one of the best hosts, if not the best, that I have encountered over my many years of travel. She was responsive to messages and was just so polite and friendly with recommendations and tips for navigating San Francisco. The little touches of snacks and special drinks were really appreciated. The room decorations with the wine histories / business books and mid-century furniture and lighting made for a wonderful space to relax in. The bed was very comfortable.

Great place to stay for a few nights. Shared bathroom was always clean and kitchen always had some snacks. Host check in instructions were super clear.

Cozy place that’s bigger than it appears in the photos. It’s on a beautiful and peaceful tree-lined street. The neighborhood is very walkable and some coffee places and restaurants are nearby. You can also venture a few minutes drive to two different commercial corridors. The hosts were very warm and friendly.

A cozy, quiet spot, close enough to everything, appointed and clean and fun enough to be a destination in and of itself. Three very different adults and a unique, picky 9yo all loved it. And Stephen was both helpful and hands-off when appropriate.

This was our second stay at Gigi's, and you'd be hard pressed to find better accommodations. Clean, homey, comfortable, best coffee/breakfast in SF. We love all the books and SF artwork throughout. Looking forward to staying again!

Great place to stay when visiting San Francisco. Very nice and safe neighborhood with restaurants within walking distance. Very kind of Lena to leave fresh fruit and some snacks for us!

Our stay here was wonderful. Jeannie and Skate are the nicest people and were so helpful during our stay. The two cats are very sweet and were so great to spend time with. We loved our time here!

We really enjoyed staying at Susanna and John’s place. They made us feel right at home with their homemade breakfast muffins and they have a gorgeous backyard filled with plants and art. They are kind, wonderful people and who have two adorable dogs, Molly and Lilly, that our baby had a blast playing with! We would definitely recommend staying here and would come again. We had a lovely stay at Nancy and Roger's place. They are lovely people and make you feel right at home in their beautiful house. We really enjoyed the patio and seeing many different birds in the morning. The room is comfortable and exceptionally well stocked with snacks and breakfast items. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in the area!

It was truly a pleasure to stay at Sarah and Pankaj's place — it was a serene little oasis, and the perfect place to rest up for a day's adventures. I was lucky enough to get to see and chat with both Sarah and Pankaj, who were kind and generous with recommendations. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone who is looking to stay in a residential area of SF. It felt like coming home every night in the best possible way.

I stayed at Madelyn's place for one night before going on a short backpacking trip in Henry Coe SP. My stay exceeded all expectations - it was comfortable, restful, and set me up perfectly for my trip. Madelyn was communicative from the start, met me in person when I checked in, and even made me breakfast with ingredients sourced from her own in-house farm. It was a really enchanting experience and I'm hoping to be able to return if I have the chance!
