Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Los Angeles

Jenell is a wonderful host with a beautiful home that is incredibly comfortable to stay in. Even through the big heat wave this weekend, the room I stayed in had a ceiling fan that kept me cool and comfortable all weekend long! This is my second stay here and I will gladly stay again :)

A beautiful, unforgettable stay at Tom’s Tom’s home is an elegant, peaceful oasis in Los Angeles — beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm. The highlight: his magical backyard breakfast show with Blue Jays, squirrels, and the famous Training Bird catching peanuts mid-air! Marlon and Jonathan are genuinely kind and attentive hosts who clearly put care into everything they do. The space itself is clean, comfortable, and has a peaceful, homey feel. Their dog is super cute and derpy and loves pets, and the toddler and baby girl bring a joyful energy to the place. There’s also a long-term tenant on the property — a sweet and gentle grandmother. She's wonderful. It felt like being at home with my own family. I’m grateful for the experience and would happily recommend staying here to anyone looking for a kind-hearted, welcoming environment. Good soundproofing. I never once heard the baby while in my room. The location is also good. Quiet neighborhood, feels quite safe. It's a 5-min walk to the bus stop at Culver and Centinela, and about 15 minutes walk the other direction to a lovely park that includes tennis courts, basketball court, and a dog park where you can go and play with the puppies.

It was great. Megan was very nice and communicative, and her pets were so well behaved! The room was good. Clean and comfy; it had it's own television and coffee maker.

È stato come sentirsi a casa, la famiglia è stata molto amichevole con noi, compresi i dolcissimi animali domestici. Inoltre, la sera non sentivamo nessun rumore, sembrava di essere da soli in casa, ottimo per riposarci dopo le lunghe giornate passate a LA. La casa è facile da trovare con le indicazioni che sono state fornite, il parcheggio facile fronte casa.

Der Aufenthalt bei Steven und Maria war toll! Die perfekte Mischung zwischen Privatsphäre und Geselligkeit. Man konnte super ins Gespräch kommen aber durch den eigenen Ausgang direkt neben dem Zimmer konnte man auch jederzeit seine Ruhe haben. Nicht nur, dass Steven unglaublich nett und offen ist. Genau so sind es auch seine Freunde. Es gab eine Party an dem Tag unserer Ankunft und wir wurden super herzlich von den Gästen involviert. Und das obwohl wir natürlich niemanden kannten. Wir hätten auch unsere Ruhe haben können und es wäre kein Problem gewesen aber der Fakt, dass Steves Freunde ebenso offen und herzlich sind unterstreicht für uns nur, was für ein toller Mensch Steve ist. Ganz nach dem Motto: zeige mir deine Freunde und ich sage dir wer du bist. Die Lage des Zimmers ist toll mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick über LA. Und nachdem die Stadt doch abenteuerlicher ist als gedacht ist es unbezahlbar am Abend in eine ruhige Oase zurückzukommen.

All of the other five star reviews are 100% correct! Derick’s place is exactly as it appears in the photos… And it’s absolutely spotless! I’m a clean freak and a germaphobe .. for real 😂🦠… and the bathroom was absolutely immaculate. 🧼 Check in was super easy, and there’s nice little touches like a mini fridge in the bedroom, house slippers, and even a bathrobe! The location is a little remote, but I was working in the area and this was perfect for me. Would also be great if you want someplace outside of the hustle and bustle. I’ve stayed a lot of AirBnB‘s in the last year and this one is by far the best ! Highly recommend 💖

An amazing place I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The host was super respectful and easy to communicate with. My girlfriend and I enjoyed petting the host’s pets. It felt so cozy. I would definitely rent this location again if I am in the area.

The apartment is great - very clean, spacious and has all the amenities needed for living. The host is very responsive and welcoming! Amazing stay!

Great stay at Maria’s place! It’s a sunny, comfy apartment with ocean breezes. I loved that the bedroom curtains allowed for a dark vibe for sleeping in but also the apartment in general had lots of light and fresh air. Lots to walk to including restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and the beach. And super convenient to a grocery store. Would love to stay here again!

I stayed at Taylor and Don’s for a week. I had come from Marina del Ray (staying with a friend) so had got used to that side of LA. If you’re from Melbourne AUS - it’s like Southside vs Northside. Coming to the other side as a woman traveling alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect with the area. But Taylor and Don were like instant friends; welcoming, super helpful, answered all my ‘can I walk alone at night questions’ and I felt super safe in their apartment. Plus I really enjoyed our other chats when I did run into them briefly. The apartment has everything you need. It’s cosy and warm when it’s cold and wet (random couple of rainy days); nice and cool after being out in the LA heat all day. The space is well thought out, aesthetically pleasing & has the best views to watch the sunset with a glass of vino. Plus it’s so close to good coffee & croissants (Doubting Thomas). It was also really easy for me to get to and from the galleries/sites/bars/shops etc on my list. Sooo I’ll be back!

Exactly as advertised with a great host to match! Akaisha was super responsive if we had questions - one night we came back and couldn’t find any street parking and the hosts were able to figure something out for us. Would be great if there was built in parking for this unit as there’s a good amount of room on the property, but we knew it was street parking when booking. Not a lot of noise from Venice Blvd or the 10! Decent neighborhood, easy to get to main street walking. The unit itself was really great, though don’t bank on using the couch to sleep, it’s not very comfortable. It’s a tried and true one bedroom with one bed.

This is a great find for people that want to stay in or near West Hollywood. The listing was an exact match to what you actually get. Maggie was very quick to respond to any questions. The views from the apartment and rooftop were to die for! The space is excellent for a couple. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

Second time here, couldn’t be happier with this unit / location. One of the best buildings in the area. Will continue to be back!

Great stay. I have stayed in this building before and this unit was just as solid. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The location is ideal and the vibe of the building is always on point. I actually liked it so much that I’m renting a condo a few floors up and moving in later this month. Thanks for a smooth and welcoming experience.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

This place was absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the water! Beach access was also great to have very close by! It was great being able to fall asleep with the sound of the waves! Amazing air bnb to stay at!

The stay was very comfortable & homey. Great kitchen & living room space. Big bedroom with washer and dryer. Much bigger in person than it looks on the app. I recommend this play for a quiet getaway & subtle experience. Very quiet and peaceful, plus the hosts were great. Very responsive and proactive, answered any and all questions I had quickly.

Amazing place, with a beautiful kitchen! The building itself was very quiet. Most everything was walkable, or at least a very short uber ride away! Any questions we had we got a response very quickly. A perfect stay for the weekend!
