Welcome to Villa Maria, our fairy tale guest house in a calm location next to the forest and with a vast garden in the village Lauterbourg in Northern Alsace, France. It's just 5 min by foot to the heart of the village with a couple of bakeries, restaurants, a grocery store and small shops, or 10 min to the beach & lake. It's only 2 min by car from Germany, and a perfect location for exploring the Rhine border region Karlsruhe-Strasbourg, or for a rest on the way when travelling across Europe.

This beautiful architect´s house is located in a quiet residential area surrounded by idyllic vineyards and some of the most beautiful paths for hiking or mountain biking start directly in front of the door. The house has a big garden with a magnificent old stock of trees and a little creek. As this house was renovated looking after the design and the details and also with some technical refinements, i am looking forward to welcome you into this cozy home.

Charming vacation home

Cottage in the middle of the Black Forest, about 8km from Freudenstadt. Ideal both for nature lovers and hikers, as well as for families who want to enjoy peace and quiet. Starting point for great excursions (Europapark Rust, Strasbourg and Alsace, Baden-Baden, Karlsruhe, and much more) or hikes and leisure activities nearby. The Black Forest National Park is a few minutes' drive away, and a wolf and bear park are also within easy reach.
