This place was amazing and had fantastic views! We had such a great stay, the set up is perfect to have fun as well as relax!

Another great stay. The house is beautifully decorated, the hot tub is clean and clear, and the location is peaceful. We spent a lot of time at the Winchester Historic Walking Mall, and discovered the Shenandoah Valley Children’s museum where my 20 month old had a blast.

My husband and I had a great stay here with our dog. The house was beautiful and very clean and our dog loved the fenced in yard. Dolly had so many recommendations for local restaurants, breweries/wineries, and things to do. You can definitely hear the train going by but it really didn’t bother us at all it’s not loud enough to distract from a conversation or wake you up. Overall we loved staying here and would gladly stay here again if back in the area!

we loved the forethought they had for the needs of their guests. and a lot of times it was the 'little things' that had the greatest impact...the 'unnecessary' touches which made things so comfortable (ample hooks/cubbies/drawers, hot tub towels, plug-in nightlight/flashlights in every room, binoculars, great games, and more!). probably the best part of the experience was knowing they trusted & respected you as guests. there was almost a case of toilet paper & paper towels in the pantry, a full bottle of laundry detergent, tub of dishwasher pods, full pack of sponges, full bottles (NOT attached to a wall!) of shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc. - and they weren't afraid you were going to take it all home w you! there was NO angst. just a wonderful experience. our final favorite part is that we were able to purchase the great "mountain mama" coffee mugs we enjoyed using during our stay. a great souvenir to have for such a memorable trip...

We absolutely loved our stay! We were here for our elopement in Shenandoah National Park and this location was perfect. The AirBnb was clean, it had beautiful surroundings, and all of the amenities were great!! Colton gave us awesome local recommendations as well. We will definitely be back!

This cottage is AMAZING!!! Absolutely beautiful and looks like it was professionally decorated, something you would see in a magazine. The outside is breathtaking and the river access is icing on the cake. Keith was an amazing host. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and we had a wonderful time staying there. We definitely want to go back soon!

Our Happy Place was just that! The cute tiny cottage in the woods was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect quick get away for a long weekend. Sarah had everything we could have needed readily available for us. She even had a cute little library within walking distance from the cabin full of books and tons of games. We loved the “no rules” moto and enjoyed our time outside listen to music and enjoying the beauty all around us without having to worry about being too “loud”. Highly recommend this little gem if you’re looking for a secluded spot well within drivable distance to the quant little town of Orange, where we were welcome by several locals! As for Sarah, she is an amazing host! Sarah is very accommodating and is super quick to respond to any questions you may have. She has a passion for ensuring that her guests have an amazing experience. Thank you for sharing a tiny piece of your heart with us! Hope to visit again in the future!

The holly cottage was exactly as the listing described. It was easy to find and close to crozet. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The cabin was a wonderful, easy space to stay for a quick weekend to the mountains. We very much enjoyed the beautiful views from the windows and the porch.

This amazingly cozy farmhouse was just the vibe we were looking for. Beautiful outdoor seating (screened-in porch, deck overlooking the vineyards, and lounge chair by the pool) made it easy to breathe in the fresh air. Beds were comfortable and water pressure was great! The outside deck with Solostove was perfect for the chilly evenings. We enjoyed light snacks and wine at Muse Vineyards, which was lovely and got to meet Sally! We ventured into town for some local eats. Can’t say enough good things about Woodstock Cafe’s breakfast. We enjoyed a sweet treat at Sugar Creek and had a lovely walk down the street at Seven Bends. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, look no further!

This was our second stay here. Second time was just as good as the first. The fenced yard for the dog was what originally made us book here, but the beautiful location and well-appointed house will keep us coming back. This trip was the first time we were able to use the walk on access to Montpelier and that was a nice added bonus.

Everything about the stay was great! Susan was a great host with an impeccable house. You can tell she cares about her guest, their experience and what needs they might want or encounter. The coffee and cream being available was a huge perk! The s’mores kit (wish we could have used it) was a nice touch and the chocolate in the mug. That was just in the kitchen… the bathrooms had other things available if needed. Couldn’t find a spec of dirt, dust or stray hair. Susan’s eye to detail and cleanliness showed! Would recommend this house to anyone and stay here again myself if in the area.

We have stayed at this home many times because- a.) They have a fenced-in backyard so it is nice to be able to let out our dogs without worrying about them running away and b.) we love hiking at Lost River State Park which is just a short 12 minute ride to from the house, and c. It is a beautiful quaint home- very peaceful and has all the amenities we need.

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The house was very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked with plenty of cookware, games, books, and extra linens and blankets. The area was so beautiful, with rolling hills, mountain views, farm scenery, fragrant fresh air, and spectacular star views at night. My city dog absolutely loved getting to run and play in the well maintained large fenced in yard! Billy and Margit provided dog treats, yard toys, extra leash, water/food bowls, dog towels, pet proof trash lids, and sofa cover indicating that dogs are allowed on the sofa. My dog was so welcomed! Billy and Margit provided whole bean coffee that they freshly roasted, and a bean grinder. The coffee was amazing! Really enjoyed drinking the coffee in the mornings while listening to the chorus of birds chirping. Hiked at Whiteoak Canyon Falls, less than 20 minutes from Amy's place. The early check in and late check out times were another generous touch that was enjoyed. Would love to stay again!

A thoughtfully put together little cabin! Had all the basic kitchen supplies you would need, the bathroom was nice, the water got good and hot, the air conditioner worked well, etc. The host was responsive and helpful, the goats were very cute, and the place was very clean. I would note it was not bug proof--there were quite a few earwigs that made themselves at home as well. earwigs in the coffee! earwigs in the bed! and, hopefully, earwigs in your heart <3 They're a pretty mild and inoffensive bug, though. No issues with mosquitos, etc. Also plenty of attractions within a reasonable driving distance--we checked out some caverns, some hiking, and some nice local restaurants.

Lovely, comfortable cottage. Very convenient to all things Madison County. Feels like home. We would love to stay again when we return to the area. Thank you!

One of our favorite and most relaxing Airbnb stays! Incredible mountain views, beautifully appointed cottage, lots of wildlife, and a great location for exploring wineries and area attractions. Our dogs enjoyed relaxing with us on the enclosed deck in the evenings. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Diani was responsive and provided a very helpful guidebook and instructions before we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again.

New construction and very nicely appointed. The screened in porch was a delight. I watched a fawn graze and an indigo bunting perch while sipping my morning coffee. The proximity to Old Rag can’t be beat and it’s a quick drive to Sperryville.

You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. When we’re back in the area this will be our go to place.

The cottage was a perfect place for my daughter and her new husband’s wedding night and weekend! Christina made their stay so special. She was able to help me with surprising the newlyweds with a basket of goodies, fresh baked goodies, and drinks! They loved the surprise especially after a long day! The host was incredibly kind, helpful amd responsive! The cottage was so cute and very clean! Great location! Close to their wedding venue and local wineries and breweries! Highly recommend!

This charming little cottage is a wonderful bonus rental to the main house. Though I had not originally rented this cottage when I rented the main house, at the last minute, I had extra guests that needed accommodations and John was able to rent the cottage on very short notice. The cottage was clean and ready for an early check-in in record time and my guests were very happy with this sweet cottage. A beautiful location that is such a lovely spot for a getaway or special weekend trip. A nice little taste of country life for all who come to the Shenandoah Valley.

Karma is real, so I must share this true GEM with the world. This was a bday getaway for my wife and I with our pup. I WIN BEST Husband of the Year because of Frank's Pond Cottage. I gave her the gift of her very own waterfall.. Beautiful luxury in hidden away by the Shenandoah. We were able to UberEats while also having an Uber take us to Element. Great food. Frank and team recommended horseback riding, did that too, MUST DO SO! We will be back and already have plans for next trip. Run DON'T WALK to spend time at this wonderful retreat.
