Holiday rentals with beach access in Maalaea

A++++++ owners, place was great for what we needed. Sleeps 2-3 comfy, might be able to squeeze in a 4th. Full mini kitchen, patio, pool/spa/BBQ’s, tennis courts. 1/4 mile walking distance to beach. Cute wildlife w/ birds & chicken all over property. Everyone was friendly. 5-10min from downtown Kihei shopping & grocery stores.

We really enjoyed the relaxing environment. It was close to the beach. The complex was quiet and we enjoyed the hot tub a couple of the evenings.

Perfect place to enjoy Maui with beach view from balcony. The beds were comfy and the apartment was super well equipped! We had a toddler and there was a pack n play, dining chair booster, a few toys, and baby utensils! Megan was super responsive and helpful. Could not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend the walk down the beach to the sugar beach bakery.

We came here for our 20th anniversary. The views and beach are unparalleled. It is a more private setting and not walkable to downtown Kihei. This was perfect for us because we just wanted a chill place to be. It is still very accessible to the entire island and Kihei is really easy to get to. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Maui!

We enjoyed our time in Kihei. It’s centrally located, has great parking and is perfect for relaxation. You look right out on the ocean, have direct beach access, and lots of restaurants nearby. We would stay here again.

Being really sick in Maui is no fun. Being directly across from a beautiful beach was the saving grace! The home was very inviting and well-appointed. The extras, such as beach chairs, was very helpful. Having an in-place washer and dryer was very nice. While we didn't see much of Maui (thankfully, this wasnt our first trip), having a comfortable to rest was very welcomed. Great hosts; highly recommend a stay here.

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

Leslie’s place was a gem! If we are ever back to Maui, we would love to stay here again. The location was perfect for snorkeling, and Leslie’s local recommendations were awesome. The check in and out was very easy to follow. The place has beach chairs, boogie board, beach towels and so many more! We also appreciated the hot jacuzzi in the condo and the beach in the front.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

Steve’s place is great and he is an excellent communicator and very invested in ensuring his guests have a great experience. We loved watching the sunset from the deck and the pool and game room were both so fun for our family. Lots of pantry staples on hand as well as some yummy snacks to greet us. The location is private and peaceful and we loved all the beautiful Hawaiian plants and geckos in the yard. Thanks for a great stay!

Mike and Ashley were incredibly amazing and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. Really appreciated the special touch they left us for our anniversary and will recommend them to and friends and family that visit Maui. Their place is beautiful and it looks even better in pictures. It is perfectly homey, private, and quiet, which was very nice but also close to the beach with a three minute walk couldn’t recommend staying with Mike and Ashley more. Thanks for helping make our anniversary trip special!

We had the best time at this condo! It was quiet and clean and was exactly what we were hoping for! Don was incredibly responsive when I had questions or needed recommendations to rent baby gear! We had a great time and hope to Come back again

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is perfect if you plan on exploring the island. It's centrally located with easy access to the main road to other parts of the island. The location is beautiful with great views of the ocean and harbor. It is windier in that harbor so hold on to your hats. The unit was easy to access, thanks to a dedicated elevator, clean, had lots of towels, and full of useful beach items (i.e. coolers, chairs, ice packs in the freezer, etc.) Our family would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed staying here. It’s close to the beach and the shopping street. Plus, the view from the balcony is beautiful, we ate breakfast there every morning. It’s even better than the photos show!

Annie’s place was overall great! There is access to a wonderful beach. The beds were comfortable and my kids liked having their own bed. There is A/C in each room. Of note, this is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. No problem for hauling our luggage, but others may want to consider this. Annie provided beach chairs and a cooler- very helpful. Needs more comfortable living room seating, our family of 4 had a hard time watching movies together.

Mathew was a great host. Really quick to respond all my questions. The place was amazing. Even better than the pictures! It had everything you can think of and more. The playpen and high chair definitely a plus! The property is well maintained, swimming pool was cleaned every single day we stayed. The neighbourhood is really quiet and walkable. We loved strolling near the harbor every afternoon. The beach was really close too, just a few steps from the property was a public beach park area, a bit crowded the weekend we stayed but really peaceful rest of the time. Overall, great property and host. Can’t wait to be back!

This is a great condo. It is centrally located making it perfect for first-time visitors to Maui who want to explore most of the island. You will need a car, as there are limited offerings within walking distance. We loved morning coffee on the Lanai while watching whales frolic in the bay. The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with necessities. We found beach chairs and snorkeling equipment in the closet and there were even a few spices and other extras in the kitchen. Vacation Maui was an excellent host. They always responded to emails within a few minutes and sent help within an hour of our reporting an issue with the TV. We'll be back!

When trying to find a central location to have as a home base, Breanna’s place worked out perfectly for us. Nestled in a community near the Ocean Center, it was very easy to get to the Road to Hāna, airport, Lahaina , and Wailea. Seaturtles were consistently within viewing distance outside from the balcony too. A local beach was just further down the road, which made for nice evenings for us. The unit was on the second floor near the assigned parking spot and stairs. Trash bin and recycling were at the other end. Breanna’s place was very clean with two bathrooms and the a/c unit in the central room. The king and queen bed were comfortable for our family of four and having separate bathrooms was useful. When and if we decide to return to Maui, we would not hesitate to see if we could stay at Breanna’s place again. We had a fabulous stay.

We stayed at this Air bnb for our honey and it was perfect. Having access to a full kitchen was amazing. We had a nice ocean view from the room. The host always made time to answer questions and responded fast. We really enjoyed our stay and really appreciate how accommodating everyone was throughout our stay.
