Near to the apartment is the Henschotermeer, a natural pond in the middle of hills surrounded by white sandy beaches and green sunbathing area.

'Huisje De Boswachter' is located on a forest park on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in Maarn, where a limited number of weeks can be rented out to keep the peace on this park. There are 3 bedrooms and is ideal for a family. The cottage itself and the garden are very pleasant to stay, but nature also beckons within walking distance. This is how you get to Lake Henschotersee; a beautiful swimming lake and the forest and heath are all around you. The cottage is located on a private forest park.
