The Bed and Breakfast is located in De Meern, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Close to Utrecht and centrally located between Rotterdam, Amsterdam and The Hague.

Private realm in glorious garden

Please note that the address is Achter Raadhoven 45A, a green garden door, and not Achter Raadhoven 45, where our neighbor lives. De Boomgaard (The Orchard) is in the walled garden of an 18th-century house on the legendary Vecht River, where Dutch country life was born. The b&b is a complete cottage of great charm and comfort. Guests have their own entrance, with free parking a few steps from the door. They have their own entirely private bathroom and kitchen.

This newly built house (2019) is spacious and has a beautiful garden on the Vecht in Maarssen-Dorp. You will love this house because of the light, the comfortable beds, the garden and the modern decor. The house has all the modern necessary amenities you need. The place is suitable for families or 2 couples. The supermarket is 500 meters away. There are several restaurants in the village. Maarssen is located between Utrecht (8 km) and Amsterdam (30 km).

Relax and relax in this just refurbished cozy little water house. Take a dip in the swimming water or throw out your fishing rod. Shower down under the luxurious outdoor shower with hot & cold water. And then delicious BBQ. There is a small outdoor kitchen with hot & cold water. When the evenings are a little fresher, light the wood stove. Optionally, you can take a nice boat trip on the lake, we rent the boat with a powerful electric whisper motor.

The apartment is located in the outskirts of Breukelen on the river De Vecht, near the Loosdrechtse Plassen, centrally located between Amsterdam and Utrecht in a beautiful, rural area with beautiful estates on the Vecht. Ideal for cycling, hiking and boating, city trips and fishing.

The unique thing about the BnB is its location near Utrecht and Amsterdam but in the middle of Natura 2000. The Bethunepolder is the lowest part of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. With the Vecht, Loosdrechtse and Maarsseveense lakes within walking distance, it is a great location with Thermen Maarssen, a luxury spa only 5 minutes away.

Eilandseind, translated as islands end, is an island with a beautiful round wooden cabin on it! ...well, it's the last stretch of a kilometer long peninsula in midst of nature. Only reachable by (electric) boat, which is provided. Pure freedom, tranquility, romance in the dutch wilderness. A good reason why dutchies like to have staycations. A hidden outside space with a generous inside to celebrate nature and each other.

Guesthouse Bethune is located in the beautiful village of Tienhoven, in the middle of the Dutch lake district. Amsterdam (30 min by car) and Utrecht (15 min) are nearby. The area is famous for biking and hiking but also boat trips along the river Vecht with its castles and famous historic houses. You can enjoy the great nature (many birds) with one of our bikes or our kayak. Self catering / without breakfast.

Guesthouse on estate on the Vecht

Stay in the former eighteenth-century summer house of the Bouwerij on the Ridderhofstad Gunterstein estate on the Vecht in Breukelen. The summer cottage is located on the grounds of a small-scale organic dairy farm, a farm with 70 hectares of land adjacent to the Loosdrechtse lakes, where our cows, mostly ancient Dutch leaf heads, graze in an ancient park-like cultural landscape.
